Saw some of the pictures in the links you posted. My what beautiful subway art you’ve got over there.
The Alice in Wonderland artwork is great. You mentioned Grumpy might be the egg-man. But I think the egg-man’s just Humpty Dumpty from the wonderland story. He’s a bit grumpy though 🙂

You are probably right about the Humpty part….Grumpy’s cracked shell is long gone. 😀 I would be curious to know how many pieces of art there are in the entire system. The mosaics, tiles and stained glass are amazing.
