In 1×07 “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter, the Huntsman makes and gives Snow White a whistle instead of killing her. This may be so minor, but one of my unanswered questions is are we ever going to see that whistle again? Maybe it was just something insignificant; however I can’t stop wondering about it. Any thoughts?

You’re not the only one wondering about it. I’ve been hoping we’d see that whistle being used, but the longer it goes without seeing it, the less likely I think it is that they’ll bring it back.

Phee, I am glad that I am not the only one who is wondering. You are probably right though, the longer we go without it the less chance of seeing it again. But we never know….Eddy and Adam are so unpredictable!!

Good question, never thought of it before. He gave it to her so she could call him for help though right ? But now he is dead so she couldn’t use it any more. Maybe we will see her using it in a flashback clip from fairytale land.

When he gave her the whistle, he said it will ‘bring her aid and she’ll be led to safety.
Doesn’t sound like the whistle would necessarily call him.
    Graham was raised by wolves.
Maybe it’s a special ‘wolf’ whistle – like a dog whistle that only dogs can hear.
After her and Ruby became friends, and they became aware that she was a wolf, maybe she used it to call Ruby?

Oh! How can you remember all those quotes 😯 I’m very impressed

That would be cool, she could call the two-color-eyed wolf perhabs.

    Lol! I don’t know 🙂
Probably because I’ve watched S1 eps several times.

Calling the two color eyed wolf would be pretty cool…I wonder if she still has the whistle in SB and if so, would it still work?

Yes, you are right that he never said it would be him specifically to help him. I really like the idea that a wolf might be the one to bring her to safety. The two-colored-eye wolf is in SB did watch over Graham so could also be watching over Snow. I was thinking we would only see the whistle in a FT flashback; but never thought about it working in SB. What a great idea! 😀

Is it wrong for me to hope that through some magical way, Graham can just magically come back?

Hmm in Little Red Riding Hood, Red is is saved by the Huntsman. Maybe there will be a flashback where he saves Snowwhite from her own friend? *hopes hopes* Basically I will go for any excuse that brings him back, and his hunting outfit is… yum (Yes I am that shallow)

Hey if you wipe his heart dust together, couldn’t he be revived in the water of Lake Nostros?

Saw this on another fansite and thought it was an interesting point.

    “Sandy” posted this:

If the Huntsman was raised by Children of the Moon/werewolves it would explain why he could read and speak English.

Perhaps he was raised in a pack but since he wasn’t an actual werewolf he had to leave and venture out as a “lone wolf” as soon as he was able to survive on his own and take care of himself.
