I am so, so, so happy to be wrong with my theories! Snow is not bad. David…not her puppet.  But that being said…

I’ve stood up for the writers…for years…said all the craziness would make sense when they finally reveal what in the heck they were doing. But…in my opinion they did not deliver.

The ending was beautiful…all the Realms…peace…togerher…Rumple’s sacrifice…but no Baelfire for Rumple?!!! Really! He gets Belle in the afterlife but not his son?!!! Baelfire…Neal…his relationship with his father…part of the very heart of the show.

Unless they are planning a Marvel crossover with Neal as a SuperHero…this just totally sucks.

Conveniently forgetting Neal has been a hallmark of this show for years. I never expected it to change on the final night. MRJ was in London during most of the finale filming and while I wish they could have worked him in somehow (a voice over would have killed them??) I’m glad Nealfire got a better send off in the 100th episode than he did in 315, lying on the cold hard ground.

But there were some tiny moments sprinkled in, meant to remind us of that Papa and Bae relationship. Namely, Rumple seeing Alice (his adopted daughter, more or less) almost fall through a portal while Nook (her father) fought to hold on. The very thing that Rumple didn’t do, years and years and years ago. It’s no wonder Rumple sacrificed himself for Nook and Alice.

RumplesGirl…You are so right!!! I am just shaking my head…so…so…so…disappointing and frustrating. I’ve held onto hope that all the pieces would come together…for years…held into hope that the writers who have brought back person after person after person would finally acknowledge this father son relationship…and the hundreds of years the character they wrote…they created…the hundreds of years he was alone.

    And.

    Not.

    One.

    Mention.

I am a Nealfanforever…and tonight I just sit here stunned.

I love that sacrife… and they let Rumple out of his prison and let him die a true hero.

In the back of my mind I had been hoping for a Marvel crossover. Neal not dead…somehow watching out for all. There was the purposeful decision to actually film in NYC…then there were those goofy looking magic storm clouds in that one episode with Rumple and all the talk of superpowers and the Marvel comic books and the Spider-Man reference. But even if they came out tomorrow and said surprise…it wouldn’t make up for the removal of Neal from the story.
