This may not make sense to some, but I want to send this message to my fellow Once Upon A Time fans; in particular, to the girls (but it applies to boys, too). A lot of you may not understand, or perhaps even agree with my view of how this is relevant, but I promise there is a purpose which at least in my mind, is a good one.

I fear too many girls (and maybe boys, too) weigh their worth on how/whether a celebrity takes the time, or effort to recognize them, or even to appreciate them. Appreciation doesn’t just come in tweeting somebody, it comes in honesty, humility, and compassion outside the realm of one’s self; especially, toward those we’ve never met (Luke 10:25-37)..

Girls, I know not all of you appreciate faith and beliefs, but my purpose in writing this is not some cheap attempt to lay down an electronic tract. You are reading this, because I feel led to tell you all about how much you are loved, and how much you are worth. YOU are so precious. Please, please, never ever doubt your value, or think it depends on whether someone else takes the time or effort to recognize it. If they don’t it’s not your loss. Honey, it’s theirs. These are not the people for us to be angry at. These are the people we should be praying, for. You cannot know love at all, if you cannot love your neighbor, as yourself (1 John 4:16), and no, your neighbor is not just a relative, a friend, or the person next door.

You are all, loved. All of you. Please believe that, tonight. If you don’t share my faith, whatever faith you do have, please know, and believe that your value is so much more precious that rubies (Proverbs 3:15). I most absolutely believe that, and I don’t need the approval of a popular person to confirm it. Girls, you don’t need that, either. If God says so, then who cares what anybody else thinks?

Please, be good to each other. Speak life, to one another. God bless.

    ———————————————————————————————

Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

1 Corinthians 1-7 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things
