So…who is the Blonde in the Ice Cream shop who has powers that seem to equal Elsa’s? (remember: spoiler FREE)

Someone we’re all going to love I’m sure! 🙂

October 5, 2014 at 9:32 pm #284398RumplesGirlKeymasterI loved EM in LOST so I am interested to see what A and E do with her in ONCE. She’s a great actress and she has that “I know something you don’t know…” aspect to her.

Original Ice Queen
Elsa and Anna’s aunt (on their mother’s side)
Evil but misunderstood.

Isn’t this pretty much a given with all OUAT villains 😛 what I’m curious about is why is she choosing to act now? SB has had magic for awhile… Why hasn’t she tried taking power or whatever it is she is planning before? Has she been in the town all along? Or did she recently come over in the new curse?
Idk if this counts as a spoiler but in the promo, you can see her creating a little ice castle. What’s that all about?
Also, that pretty dress is pretty.

Did you notice that not-so-subtle jab at NBC?
“A power outage must be your worst nightmare.” – GrumpyLiz Mitchell played a character who caused a global, permanent power outage that killed millions in NBC’s recently cancelled show Revolution (just last May).
Her character’s last indulgence a few hours after the blackout (and before all hell broke loose) was eat ice cream. She knew she would have no access to it again as it would obviously melt.
First scene in OUAT? She freezes melted ice cream.
“Just lucky, I guess.”
Brilliant, OUAT, brilliant.

And where was Anna going for info?? The Enchanted Forest.
What if Princess Ava was Anna and Elsa’s Aunt. Which mean’s that Snow is Anna and Elsa’s cousin. Hence the reason she could hear a heart beat as Snow got closer to the apartment?
OR
Crack theory #2 . . .
Elizabeth Mitchell is a grown up Anna who made some kind of deal with Rumple in order to try to find Elsa so that he could use Elsa’s magic to cast the curse or Anna got all messed up when he tried to teach her magic knowing that she was Elsa’s sister and assuming she was powerful enough to be taught to cast the curse to get him to Bae. But some variation that makes her become a warped grown up Anna that is a wanna-be evil version of Elsa – she aged because she wasn’t caught up in the curse.
I know they are both far fetched but . . . EVIL WARLORD BO-BEEP. If that can make it past editing, both of my theories are viable contenders.

This is actually becoming somewhat of a popular theory. And the reason why Blondie is now blonde is because Anna’s heart was frozen (hence, hair color change).

There isn’t a whole lot of evidence in show to suggest otherwise, so it’s a contender for sure. Except for this reason: it would be shooting themselves in the foot.
One of the biggest points or this arc is to bolster their viewership using the cash cow that is Frozen (not saying that’s a bad thing, it’s understandable in this business). Hence why our 401 ratings were the highest they’ve been in 2 years, people tuned in for Frozen. This means that A and E aren’t going to ruin people’s perception of Frozen–Elsa will not be a villain, in other words. In order to keep that audience, they will try to keep as much of the Frozen love as possible.
So, by mid-season end, Anna and Elsa will be back together. And I suspect that the final Frozen episode of the season will be Anna and Kristoff’s wedding. Making Anna = Blondie might be a bit too much for the Frozen set of viewers who don’t want to see their beloved Disney film (that they are pretty much exclusively tuning in for) turned into new characters or villains.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm #284509Frozen QueenParticipantHere is my theory. I think that Elizabeth Mitchell’s character is the Snow Queen who gave up her infant daughter, Elsa, to Rumplestiltskin for mysterious but sympathetic reasons. Rumplestiltksin then made a deal with the king and queen of Arendelle, who adopted Elsa, thinking they were unable to have a child. Later, Anna came along as a welcomed surprise. The king and queen never told Elsa she was adopted nor how she came by her powers. Unbeknownst to Elsa, she inherited her magic from her birth mother, the Snow Queen, who lived in Misty Haven. That is where Elsa’s adoptive mother and father were headed in a ship when the storm hit, to seek help and understanding about Elsa’s uncontrollable power. The queen of Arendelle wrote a note to Elsa, telling her she was adopted, who her birth mother is, and then sealed the letter in a bottle. Years later, Anna set out on a mission to find out what happened, when she came across the Snow Queen, who then froze or apprehended Anna, for some unknown reason. Elsa will somehow discover the letter in a bottle from her adoptive mother and will then learn the identity of the Snow Queen, who is now in Stroybrooke, as well as the location of her adoptive sister, Anna.
