Recently, the cast of OUAT were seen in pictures from what looks like was probably a holiday party and that gave me an idea for a new episode. Maybe, for around Christmas or New Years next year.
What if the episode put the characters on the shelf, and focused on the actors for an episode about the cast? It’d be a “behind the scenes” espisode, but the catch is it’d be funny, and would be done in a way like “The Office”.
I think this could be hilarious, especially if they really “silly” it up. Just for fun, maybe Steve Carrell should show up.

Robert dancing with Emilie to the sound of the “Do we have a deal” (a perfect fan creation for this couple. I found on youtube). I think Lana should have a good voice with her training. She should make the song Unfortunate Souls or Mother knows best. Emma sings “I’ll try”, Mulan sings for Aurora “I’ll make a man out of you”. David sings for Mary Margreth “Wherever you will go”. SwanThief will sing “I see the light” and Henry “I’ll go the distance”.
All the ladies should sing in the end: “Damsel in Distress by Laura Baum”.
Of course in Disney Style, so maybe for Valentine’s Day.Heros don't get their Happy Ending!

That is all.December 22, 2012 at 10:49 am #165915PriceofMagicParticipantBuffy the vampire slayer had a musical episode which actually fit in as part of the storyline where a demon forced everyone to reveal their true feelings through song.
I can’t see Once upon a time having a musical episode unless it was like a one off episode, perhaps at christmas, and at the end it was revealed that the entire episode was one of Henry’s dreams then it wouldn’t mess with the continuity of the show. I actually wouldn’t mind a musical episode of Once now.

Perhaps they could show us a flashback of her singing a lullaby to the infant Henry. Adding music to a non-musical show can be an effective change of pace. I remember a surreal episode of Northern Exposure in which a complication of pregnancy caused one of the characters to lose the ability to speak – she could only communicate by singing. Here’s a clip:

The episode also gave star John Cullum a chance to sing as well, which was welcome since he had starred in musicals like 1776 earlier in his career. I wonder how many OUAT stars are good singers?Someone mentioned a Christmas episode also. I think they missed an opportunity to do a remake of Miracle on 34th Street. It would be ironic yet perfectly consistent with the characters if Henry believed in all the fairy tale characters but not in Santa Claus! Given Regina’s “What he needs is a dose of reality” approach to parenting, we would expect that she disabused him of that idea by the time he was out of diapers. Then, a mysterious fat man with a white beard shows up in Storybrooke trying to make Henry believe (and maybe Emma, too?). We aren’t certain who he is, but it’s clear he and Regina are old enemies. I’m sure the OUAT writers could add twists that would raise such an episode way above the level of generally inferior (in my opinion) remakes of this classic.

Priceofmagic it is funny that u mentioned the Buffy episode because there is a YouTube clip where the song I got a theory is combined with once footage, I don’t have the link but if u put in once I got a theory u can find it
I would like them to do a christmas episode at one point during the series because the only holidays Stroybroke celebrates miners day and valentines day
Also if they ever break the curse and get outside of Stroybroke i would love them to do a Halloween episode where they all dress up as themselves, or maybe it would be the episode when they first go out and see people celebrate them and they are shocked how the story’s were changed or something like that, or maybe they go to disneyworld, just throwing that one out thereAnd if they ever make a musical episode it will be someone cased a curse on the town and they can’t stop singing, hey maybe if Cora tries to curse everyone that’s what happens because magic is unpredictable here, and she is new here. I would love her and Regina to do a duet about their lives. Also just a crazy song about the Charmings, and Archie can sing when you wish upon a star. Rumple can sing magic by b.o.b. And Mulan can sing give your heart a break to Phillip, or maybe girlfriend. Ok and august can sing knock on wood. Regina can sing I will always love u to her memory of daniel as she finally let’s go of him, belle can sing stop in the name of love to Rumple about his use of magic, and Emma and Neal can sing don’t you want me and follow it up with don’t go breaking my heart. Snow and charming can do any love song known to man, henry and aurora can do a duet of I dreamed a dream. Hook can sum it of with be prepared and then a group number dont stop belivin, or something like that,
Keeper of Swanfire's dream catcher, the Blue Fairy Plot Device, the contact name "Her", the lanyards, the trigger, the Netherworld room and necklace, Charming's quote on Thanksgiving, and PP's pic of Henry
