Blue said in the flashback that “their story would reveal itself” and we saw in this episode, Mary Margaret give Henry the book and when she found the book when she was cleaning out her closet and it seemed to just appear by itself. But I got the feeling, Blue didn’t know how their stories would reveal themselves in Storybrooke and therefore, she couldn’t have been the creator of Henry’s book.
I also feel like there’s a missing piece from the conversation with Snow and Charming at the beginning. Like maybe Blue went to another magical being and was told that “their story would reveal itself” but didn’t know or understand the true meaning of that. So if Blue didn’t create the book, who or what created the book?
[adrotate group="5"]December 22, 2013 at 2:43 pm #233255TheWatcherParticipantHmmm. I’ve got theories:
1.) The book wasn’t created by someone. It IS someone. I had a dream where I was Jafar and turned someone into a book so that I could have all their knowledge. Maybe thats the case?
2.) This may sounds crazy, but look back at the very first episode right at the very beggining. The beginning literally is Once Upon A Time blah blah blah happened and this is how it happened. Its like we are being told the story by someone who is in our land >> it actually says they came to OUR world >> I think it’s possible that the person who created the book is someone here in our land, telling us the story. And who might that be? Adam and Eddy of course 😛 buts its more of a final season thing as I said before in another post. That A&E exist just the same as the other authors of fairytales exists. Ariel met Hans Christian Anderson before in her tv show. Alice met Lewis Carol before. I think its possible our characters may literally meet their makers >>
3. Blue did it. She is very sneaky after all.
4.) August did it. He was a writer and added stories to the book so boom.
5.) Pan did it. He obviously has knowledge of the future. He created the book and had it planted. And seeing as August is a writer, able to enter SB. And modified the book, and based on his Pleasure Island talk, I think he did it on Pans orders without knowing.

So he’s out. He may be the caretaker of it or he may know who wrote it though.

December 22, 2013 at 4:06 pm #233272RumplesGirlKeymasterPersonally, Blue’s whole “one day our story will reveal itself to Emma” and then her sly “but I don’ t know how” only makes me more convinced that she wrote it.

Maybe. But in the intervening time between that and the final seconds of the curse I think she figured it out. Her “final preparations” were to ensure that the book somehow wound up on MM’s closet, hidden until needed.

@Punk_Bunny_87 no she didn't have her memories during curse

Adam never really answered what those “final preparations” were.

Oh I know. Sneaky Adam is Sneaky.
I’m telling ya….it was about the book 🙂
(ps: that was a sad day for me. First response from Adam but he killed SO MANY headcanons)
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"December 22, 2013 at 4:47 pm #233292MatthewPaulModeratorOne answer I think is likely, and it would disappoint people, is that the curse created the book. No person literally wrote the book, but it somehow came into existence as a part of the curse. It could merely be a side effect of the True Love that Rumple added to the curse, and the curse created the book as a catalyst for making sure the curse was broken. While this would disappoint fans hoping for something more elaborate, keep in mind this wouldn’t be the first time we got an underwhelming answer to a question, so often times its something much more simple than we’ve speculated. These other disappointing reveals include what August showed to Neal in his box, the Henry adoption explanation, Charming’s real name actually being David, etc.
December 22, 2013 at 4:52 pm #233293obisgirlParticipantActually, that theory I think, isn’t that far fetched. I think the curse created the book too. It wasn’t a who but a what, and the curse would be a what.
