SOMEONE theorized they do not need a mayor …. but somebody needs to run the town day to day and get the stuff they need from the outside world… computers, ipods (to listen to podcasts (ours) with) food, clothing, groceries etc. Someone has to make arrangement for delivery. Regina may have been evil but she ran a well organize little town.

In chat the other night, we had Granny running for mayor with a slogan, that I can’t remember now, and ready to start posting campaign posters. Can’t you just imagine her sitting behind the mayor’s desk, feet propped up, with the crossbow laying across her. 😆 Although, she would be a good sheriff, I don’t think Emma’s going to give up the job when she returns.

Ohh, what about Emma for mayor? Has anyone nominated her? Actually, she’d be a great choice and Charming could remain acting sheriff.

What’s funny in real small town municipal government the mayor has little power. I know, I worked for one. The real power comes from the town council president. Sort of like how the Speak of the House in Congress controls a lot of things.

I agree that they don’t really need a mayor, but I can see Dr. Whale and Cora trying to go against whatever David tries to do. Good luck, Charming. 😉 Lol. Hopefully he gets some good advisers together to help him make decisions and delegate what needs to be done by whom, when.

If I were Emma, I’d be tempted to quit, but there are some nasty people in town that would push to take her place and bring the town down. Everyone is dealing with a lot, so maybe being sherrif is kinda a catch 22 for anyone.

Well if they were to vote, I could see maybe the blue fairy as mayor or someone else liked by a lot of people. They definitely wouldn’t vote King George in though. I am sure George is too busy plotting Charming’s murder to have time to run the town anyways.

I think when she gets back Snow should be mayor and let Charming and Emma run the sheriff station. Emma was pretty good at it and like Charming said before he did the fighting Snow did the talking
