Tiger Lily is back! Her inclusion seemed random, but I’m thinking we’re likely to see her again since she was intentionally put in the season 6 finale. It would seem they have a plan/arc for her, but what could it be?

This time, it is a new fairy doing the same thing. (Maybe the BF actress isn’t contracted to work on Once anymore). Maybe Tiger Lily helped Henry and Lucy cross realms to EF 1 to find the tree?
Still, her inclusion is definitely odd. Maybe she is just Lily’s guardian fairy/fairy godmother, (hence why she helping with the tree) and she will help solve the curse conundrum? In which case she must be in HH somewhere.

All good points. I like the idea of her being the one that helped Henry and Lucy cross realms to EF 1. It would be weird though if she was Lucy’s fairy godmother and Lucy was just now being introduced to her at age 8. I hope she pops up in HH – that would be fun. Maybe she could even shed some light on how Pan had the drawing of Henry before he was born in 2×22??…Ok I know that’s not going to happen. I just still can’t let that one go. LOL
December 16, 2017 at 5:10 am #345127RumplesGirlKeymasterThe return of Tiger Lily is odd for a few reasons. First, it suggests that Henry and Tiger Lily have any sort of meaningful connection when what has been shown is the exact opposite. Did Henry (when played by Jared) even meet Tiger Lily?? Second, Tiger Lily’s reinsertion back into the story raises more questions than it answers about some of the logistics of the narrative. Like how on earth Henry got ahold to Tiger Lily; how she traveled to the New!EF; what she’s even capable of doing (she did next to nothing this episode); and why Henry turned to her over, say, his mother (in universe, not out of it).

Yeah, I really hope they do more with this and answer these questions. I think he turned to Tiger Lily because Regina was busy confronting the witches with Zelena? But the way they incorporated the S6 scene into this episode was odd. So that was Tiger Lily’s dwelling that Lucy was sleeping in when Henry woke her and gave her the book? The S6 finale also had that scene where Tiger Lily tells Lucy the “fairies have foreseen” her reunion with her father, so maybe they are going to do more with the fairies.

If she is Lucy’s FG, then the connection would be with Lucy, and she would just intuitively appear (without warning or without being summoned) at Lucy’s birth or when Lucy needs her the most. She is a fairy who has not been banished, so I am sure she has no trouble crossing realms and also taking people with her. In which case, it would be quicker and more efficient for Henry to ask/agree to TL taking him to EF 1 rather than his mother. Meanwhile, Regina was needed to try and stop the curse in the other realm. She can’t be in two places at once.
My concern is why yet again, the Fairies where not as helpful at an earlier stage as they could have been.

They should have done something with the fairies like 2 years ago. They seem like the obvious connection. The scene with them by the tree was odd because they cold have easily had that scene without Tiger Lily being in it.

If that’s true, then that’s fine but I wish they’d make it text. Henry introduces Tiger Lily as an old friend instead of “this is your fairy godmother.”
