KeymasterAlice can summon impossible things into existence, like the Bug and a giant! Did she inherit this power from her mother? And does this give us more evidence that Alice is the Guardian?

ParticipantI think it might have something to do with the fact that her father spent so much time in Neverland. But could require magical blood.

ParticipantAlice’s father is made of wish power. Maybe that’s an important part of Gothel’s plan.

This is true. He’s made of wish power AND he spent a lot of time in a land that runs on imagination.

ParticipantI assumed it was inherited through Gothel. I don’t see what realm Nook is from or has been to would make a difference. But her mother is a powerful witch so it would make sense that Alice would be too.

Thaaaaat makes a lot of sense, actually!

If it was any other realm, it wouldn’t matter at all. But since Nook was created by a wish (an impossible thing) I think @gaultheria might be on to something with the fact that Nook possibly passed on some sort of wish making ability.

I like that theory! I think it is probably a combination of both her mom and dad, but I actually don’t have much problem with accepting these powers in her.
Did anyone else laugh at the Harry Potter car scene. I was just waiting for the car doors to fly open.

But did Nook actually spend time in Neverland? We have to remember he is a wish and his existence did not actually start until after the wish. He may have false memories of time in Neverland but should not have actually spent anytime there and if he did how in the world did he get there from wish world?

Yes. We know this because A. Baelfire was still Henry’s father (even though his name shouldn’t technically be Henry, since Regina never adopted him), and B. Nook was already an old man, when Emma and Regina first met him, but he was young, when he had Alice.

ParticipantHow do Alice wishes work exactly? When the Bug appeared, was it transported there from Storybrooke or was it a new copy? So does Emma still have her Bug in Storybrooke or not?

ParticipantI wonder how long Alice’s power has been operating. When she was little, she must’ve wished for a responsible parent who would never abandon her — and that’s what Hook turned into.
