There’s some confusion as to whether the reunion pictures of the Charmings and friends is from episode 9 or 10, but Jamie Chung may have just let the cat out of the bag. I’m at work and can’t copy her tweet into my post, but it’s about her filming with Jennifer, Ginnifer, and Sarah recently.
ETA:
Jamie Chung @jamiechung1
@ouat_fan_ @sarahbolger @jenmorrisonlive @ginnygoodwin absolutely lovely. We almost went a little crazy on set the other night! Always fun!Yes, probably not going to convince people that don’t believe in the impostor theory because there could be a good reason why Aurora and Mulan aren’t in the reunion pictures even if Chung just recently filmed with Morrison and Goodwin like they shot scenes out of order, which does happen. On the other hand, I see it as more proof that the Emma and Snow in Storybrooke in the recent pictures are really Hook and Cora.

What’s this about Snow and Charming finding a way to communicate between worlds on Once Upon a Time? — Emily
NATALIE: It’s true. The star-crossed lovers will find a way, but like everything in these worlds, it comes with a price. “They find a direct line of communication that requires a great risk,” Ginnifer Goodwin says. “There’s something very tragic about the fact that the risk that’s taken is potentially a great sacrifice that is made in order to get Emma and Snow White home. There’s something really beautiful about the selflessness that is necessary to communicate.”Again, it could go either way, maybe Aurora and/or Mulan have to make some sacrifice which is why they aren’t in the reunion pictures, but I’m wondering if it has to do with Charming having to work with Regina and/or Rumple once he finds out about the impostors. Imagine if he actually has to go all the way and sleep with Cora to keep her from suspecting anything. (Yuck!) It would fit the quote though.

There’s something really beautiful about the selflessness that is necessary to communicate.”I really don’t think this hint supports the “impostor theory” since it sounded like Ginny Goodwin is saying Snow White willingly and knowingly makes a sacrifice to get home. That means Snow and Emma are in fact home in Storybrooke, and haven’t been left stranded in the EF. Also, I really don’t think the writers are going to leave Snow and Emma stranded in the EF beyond the season’s half-way point. That would be over-kill and would make the story drag. They need to start joining the separate plots by reuniting the Charming family for real. I’m happy if they bring Cora and Hook to SB, so long as Emma and Snow are with them.
Also, if Jamie Chung and Sara Bolger are filming with Ginny Goodwin and Jennifer Morrison, it suggests that all of them are there together in SB, too, and weren’t just left behind. It could be they weren’t in the particular reunion scene, but we’ll see them later in SB.

I know, I know, you make good points, but I’m sticking to this theory to the end.
Still seems odd that Jamie Chung and Sarah Bolger are nowhere around in Storybrooke despite filming recently; although, maybe they are there and are just being hidden. Possibly, but I still think it’s because these aren’t the real Emma and Snow.
Also, I find Sarah Heartie’s tweet the most interesting because I feel like she’s a plant or has to be getting some inside information. I still maintain that the hint about Regina not wanting any of Emma’s cake was definitely a reference to the movie, Black Swan, which not only has Barbara Hershey in it as a Cora-like mother who tries to get her daughter, who is losing her mind, to eat a cake which the daughter is having none of, but also makes the viewer question what characters were real among other things by the end of the movie. So I find it weird that Heartie points out that they filmed where Regina’s and Gold’s houses are because again if this isn’t the real Emma and Snow but Hook and Cora, it makes sense that they’re watching their enemies to find out their weaknesses to use against them.
Of course, I’m sure that Emma and Snow have reason enough to watch those two or possibly suggesting some type of alliance in these scenes, but like I wrote, I’m not giving this theory up.
October 31, 2012 at 6:26 pm #158766melliemdParticipantThe thing about Snow and Charming communicating through worlds? That doesn’t sound at ALL like it hints at Snow and Emma finding a way back to Storybrooke. COMMUNICATING =/= finding a portal and getting back. I think it sounds more likely that they find a way to connect the two worlds just enough to tell each other things… But perhaps the sacrifice has something to do with making the fabric between two worlds weaker, and making it easier for Cora to get through.

November 3, 2012 at 9:20 am #159215PheeParticipantJust before, I was posting in a thread about Mulan, where people are discussing whether or not she’s working for Cora because something feels a bit off about the character. I was pondering how she and Lancelot could be a good fit together if it turns out he’s alive, and it led me to thinking how both of them could be affected if this impostors storyline proved true…
I wonder, if Cora leaves FTL to go and impersonate Snow in SB, would that mean that any spells she’d cast in FTL became void, because her power wasn’t there any more to sustain them?
RumplesGirl had suggested in the Mulan thread that if she is a spy for Cora, maybe it’s because she has her heart, meaning she’s controlling her. If Cora is indeed controlling her, would Cora leaving FTL release Mulan from her clutches, meaning we could start to see other sides of the character emerge, which would help to flesh her out more?
Also, if Cora leaves FTL, would that free up Lancelot from her clutches too? Perhaps she had him trapped somewhere, but with her gone, he’d be able to escape. That could be a way to work him back into the story, if he’s finally able to go running around FTL, and happens to find Snow and Co.
November 3, 2012 at 2:42 pm #159233hjbauParticipantI think it is simple. At the beginning of the episode Snow and Emma are in the Enchanted Forest with Mulan and Aurora and then at the end of the episode they are back in Storybrooke and Mulan and Aurora stay behind in the Enchanted Forest. I could see that.
November 3, 2012 at 2:57 pm #159237melliemdParticipantThere’s nothing for them in The Enchanted Forest… And if Cora/Hook don’t leave and Emma/Snow do… Now all that’s left there is Cora, Hook, Aurora and Mulan. I don’t like our princess’ chances, there.
