ParticipantNow that Aurora is under the control of Cora, I wonder if she would be able to shape shift into one of the Charmings? Maybe Cora will pose as Snow, Hook as Emma, and Aurora as Charming.

I do agree that it’d be perfect symmetry for them to have Snow’s kiss wake him, but I still think the pic in the street doesn’t jive with that happening. For me, that pic looks like it was the whole bunch of them gathered wherever the portal was, and this is their triumphant return to town. It doesn’t seem like they made a pit stop somewhere to wake Charming up on the way, and then all went back to walking down the main street. Maybe I’m reading the photo wrong though, time will tell. Henry’s dressed the same in that pic as he is in the promo when he’s at the well with Regina and Rumple, so the scene in the street must come directly after that happens.
I read it differently, but I could be wrong, too. Henry could be wearing the same outfit in the pic as in the promo because immediately after Emma and Snow arrive through the portal, Henry greets them and tells Snow where Charming is sleeping. Without having time to change clothes, Henry, Emma, and Snow all go to Mr. Gold’s shop where Snow kisses Charming awake. Voilà, the happy family is reunited and they all parade arm in arm down main street, where they’re joined by their close friends the dwarves, Ruby, and Granny.
I could see Henry becoming so worried about Charming not waking up that he’ll kiss him in the hope it’ll work like when Emma woke him. They’ve established that true love’s kiss can be between family, so I could buy it if they did that again, with Henry paying it forward.
Yeah, that is a definite possibility and would be cute to see. I just think the writers will keep the iconic true-love’s-kiss scene between Snow and Charming since they’ve been keeping the couple apart all of S2.
The interview bits do make it sound as though everyone is back. Whenever I thought of the imposter theory, I figured it wouldn’t be that long between the impostors showing up and then the real Snow and Emma following though, so I’d imagined there’d be two portal arrivals only a couple of eps apart, and depending on when the interviews were done, that could still potentially fit.
The article was published on Nov. 25, but the interview seems to be about events that happen in 2×9 or 2×10, based on the BTS pictures of Jennifer and Ginny on the SB set. I understand what you mean about there possibly being 2 separate realm-jumping events, I just think Emma and Snow make it to SB before Hook and Cora. The spoiler pictures of Hook with Smee in SB are from 2×11 or 2×12. I read a theory (sorry, can't find it now) in which Emma and Snow come via the well-portal whereas Killian and Cora arrive via Hook's ship. There were also BTS shots of Cora and Hook on a ship, so it could well be the case. Perhaps the ship pulls into SB's port after they are blocked by Gold and Regina from using the well as a portal.

ParticipantI’m now wondering if the stuff on Hook’s ship may be in a flashback. We haven’t seen any suggestion that he has his ship in present day FTL. If we’re gonna see FTL Regina – who may be Regina, or may be shapeshifting Cora – that must mean we’re going into FTL past, and I’m wondering if that may be around the time when Cora and Hook met, and possibly he helped her to kidnap Henry Sr. If so, then perhaps that’s when they were travelling around on his ship together, and the ship has nothing to do with present day portal jumping after all.

1. Emma may have some ‘splaining to do with Hook after leaving him on the beanstalk, but she can more than hold her own! “They come face-to-face, and I think it’s very honest,” Morrison said of Emma and Hook.
“I think it’s what it would be,” she says. “Unfortunately Emma’s put into a situation where she now needs something, and he has the upper hand, and there’s a constant ping-pong back and forth of a power shift between them. He needs something and uses her, and she needs something and uses him, and they’re always trying to rely on their abilities to charm and manipulate to get each other to do things.”
2. Emma has to step up and prove her strength once again — becoming more of a mom with her own mom than she ever was with Henry.“The thing I was most looking forward to when I was told the curse was going to be broken at the end of last season [were] these mother/daughter scenes. And they weren’t at all what I expected because I didn’t know that we were going to thrust into a fairytale world and therefore our bonding would have to occur while dealing with magical obstacles. But, I think actually that’s the best way to learn who someone is — to discover how it is that they navigate adversary. These two women learn a lot about each other and themselves at the same time,” Goodwin said.
“The dynamic between Emma and Snow shifts a bit because of that experience, and Snow needs a bit of care-taking after coming face-to-face with Charming and thinking they were going to be able to be together, even if it was in some sort of hallucinatory dream state [where] clearly, they’re not even able to touch,” Morrison added.
3. Hook will prove to be able to hold his own as a villain, even though Cora is the flashier, more in-everyone’s-face enemy right now. “You have to remember that he is as old as Rumplestiltskin; he’s seen his fair share of stuff, and I think he’s the type of guy who’s not scared of anything at all,” O’Donoghue said.
“I think he’s as ruthless as her — and why I think that is because there is no love. His love his dead,” he continued. “Cora still has a daughter and still has that stuff. He is literally completely motivated by revenge, and that’s a really dangerous thing because if anything gets in the way of that, he has no problem chopping somebody down. It’s literally all about him.”
4. Regina will find redemption by helping those with whom she generally wants nothing to do.“This entire second season, up until Episode 12, probably, she will do the right thing. Not everyone will believe her– not everyone will believe her efforts—but she is genuinely trying to do the right thing, and I love her for that,” Parrilla said.
5. What will the new portal be!? Though the potential portal between worlds in Jefferson’s hat was destroyed, a new one is this close to being found. But, will it be powerful enough to bring Emma and Mary Margaret across — all while keeping Cora and Hook out? And if anyone manages to survive getting through it, where will it leave them this time?
“We don’t know what’s going on on the Storybrooke side, and they don’t know what’s going on on the fairytale side because of the way Gold and Regina have sort of plotted against them initially and then changed their minds,” Morrison said. “So, the last thing [Emma] expects is that [anyone] will be there if [she] comes through.”
6. Even the couples who are physically together will undergo obstacles and stressors that keep them from their happily ever after. “For people who want Belle and Rumple together, you’re not necessarily going to get that. You’re going to get a better that: a real relationship with peaks and troughs…She wants him to be a certain way; he’s trying to be a better man—he actually says that—but whether he’s successful, we’ll see,” Carlyle said.
7. Say good-bye to Aurora and Mulan… for a short time. “Queen of Hearts” is the last time we’ll see both Sarah Bolger and Jamie Chung for awhile, as the show diverges from their mission. “They never had any desire to [go to Storybrooke],” said show producer Steve Pearlman. “They’ve got to go find Prince Phillip, and that’s where we leave them at the end of Episode 9 because they’ve heard you can get the soul back out of the wraith after the wraith has eaten them.”
Mmm, so I guess I must finally accept that it’s dead well at least in the form of Emma and Snow really being Hook and Cora.
For the time being though, I will not give up the theory that Cora will impersonate someone to get Regina to look bad especially after reading this.

I think Cora will do something that really sets Regina back, but maybe she doesn’t know that it’s Cora or that she knows that it’s Cora but no one believes her.

Thanks for sharing that really interesting article! I personally would be really happy to see legit Snow and Emma return to SB, since I think that storyline has gone on long enough. However, I agree that it’s likely Cora will impersonate someone in town since I think there’s a reason beyond 2×3 for introducing Cora’s ability to shape-shift. I think it’s likely that Cora will impersonate Archie, based on the title The Cricket Game for 2×10. She could wreak havoc posing as the town shrink and giving advice to Regina, who’s a recovering magic junkie with mommy issues. I could see Cora as Archie messing with Regina’s already troubled mind. 😕

Admittedly, that could be the case, and Hook and Cora may’ve just been aboard his ship in a flash-back. I just would love to see Captain Hook’s ship become a make-shift flying portal to SB, enchanted by pixie dust and happy thoughts of Hook’s revenge. If it worked for Peter Pan, then it could happen for dear old Hook.
