I liked this episode a lot. It was dark, but it didn’t take itself too seriously.
    Some favourite moments:
    – the doctor dressed as The (4th) Doctor
    – Disney celebrating its big acquisition from King George
    – Emma banging her head in frustration
    – the return of Cool Igor

Who is the 4th Doctor you are talking about?

Dr Who. The character regularly “regenerates” whenever they switch actors, think they’re up to 10th or 11th now, and each one is known in the fandom by his number. The 4th was one of the most iconic Doctors: http://www.doctorwhoexperience.com/experience.php?id=95&page=tom-baker

I forgot a moment. While I don’t like that true love’s kiss didn’t work on Belle (as I knew it wouldn’t) RC played it so well. Before he kisses her he’s so hesitant and you can tell he’s thinking “please work. please work. please come back to me.”

RumplesGirl, chin up. I was following Jane Espenson’s tweets last night. These are just new hurdles and challenges their relationship will have to go through. She was asked about the cup and she said something to the effect that you don’t love a keepsake do you? You love the person not the cup. So somewhere down the line we’ll see them together again.

Did anyone figure out what the magical orb Cora gave to Rumple was? It looked sort of like the Wicked Witch of the West magic ball from the Wizard of Oz that let her see Dorothy.

I liked how the episode moved along fairly well and how we got some answers. It felt like there was a little bit of everyone in this episode.
    Parts I loved:
Regina’s line about Snow and David 😆
Belle smashing the cup. Sorry Rumbelle fans but the amount of times I have seen that cup in gazillion Rumbelle art works has made me want to smash it myself.
We get to see Ruby’s super powers besides being able to track people.
Hook. He’s so snarky and smug lol.
    Star Wars ringtone.

    What I didn’t like:
The actor who played Frankenwhale’s dad. I don’t think he did a good job.
Frankenwhale’s flashbacks were a bit dull.
How easily Regina went back with Cora. But she could just be playing her I suppose.

Snow has a knack for stating the obvious 😆
    David: He drove into town.
    Snow: From the outside?

    Favorite parts:
-Mr. Gold’s threat to the Charmings. I know it was wrong, but it made me laugh for some reason. 😆
-The flashback scenes between Rumpel and Dr. Frankenstein.
-Hook and Emma’s scene in the hospital. I love how Emma pointed out how massively Hook screwed up.
-The scene between Ruby and Dr. Whale.

    Least favorite parts:
-Belle smashing the cup. Really writers? Are you trying to kill us?
-Some of the acting in the flashbacks. David Anders was great, but the man who played his father was just awful.
-Regina falling for Cora’s tricks. Come on girl, think for yourself for once.
-The fact that Belle didn’t seem to remember ANYTHING about Mr. Gold. You’d think she’d remember Jefferson sending her to Mr. Gold’s shop, but nope. Nada. Poor writing choice on the part of the writers.

Overall, this episode was just meh.

This episode was like a stab to my heart! 😡
    Least favorite moments:
    Regina buying Cora’s story.
Papa Frankenstein saying he has no sons,
    and Gerhard killing him.
    Favorite moments:
The doc and Ruby together. I think they might get closer with time. “Monster to monster.” 😀
Greg’s ringtone. Really? Star Wars? In the middle of a show about fairy tales? It came in such a tense moment, and it really made me laugh 😆 :geek:
Ultimate least favorite moment of the season:
    Rumple and Cora kiss. 👿

    Favorite Moments:

    1) the conversation between the Charming family at the apartment. The look Emma gave MM was just priceless!!! 😆
    2) I know I may get some crazy thoughts about this, but the kiss between Rumple and Cora. Yes it was GROSS beyond words, but I liked it because it opened up so much such as could Regina be Rumple’s, what is the history behind the two, etc.
    3) The convo between Ruby and Dr. Whale was pretty great as well. I hope to see Dr. Whale make a turn for the better in his personality.
    4) The Star Wars Ringtone…haha loved it!
    5) Hook and Emma in the hospital

    Least Favorite:
    1) The flashback scenes were a little boring to me and didn’t get much information from them other than things we had already guessed.
    2) All the scenes between Regina and Cora…very unbelivable for everything that Regina has been through with Cora. But Cora was just doing what she does best, manipulating.
    3) Emma “integating” the outsider, I mean what was that…she almost told him their secret without really telling him. She was being way to obvious and wierd about it.

Belle, your signature reminds me of Sarah Connor’s “No fate but what we make” quote, and TV Belle this week was the most Sarah-like that she’s ever been. I think the character has a huge amount of story potential now that she’s scared, angry, and convinced that the whole town is crazy.

I totally agree…I can’t wait to see what they do with her character. I am not a huge “Rumpbelle” fan, but Belle is definelty one of my favorite characters.
