I feel like after this episode, seeing how Ingrid got into the urn (Gerda trapped her after discovering that Ingrid accidentally killed their sister), I feel like it’s somehow more plausible that Ingrid’s claim that Anna trapped Elsa in the urn.
I’m still not entirely convinced. I think Anna knows that Elsa would never purposely hurt her but I still hold the theory, if it was Anna, maybe Elsa pleaded with her to put her inside the urn so she doesn’t harm anyone. Or maybe Anna meant to trap Ingrid but the urn swallowed up Elsa mistakingly and Ingrid escaped.

But I think she did after being tricked by Ingrid. Remember in an earlier episode when Ingrid attempted to kill Hook and told Elsa that when he is discovered, they’d blame her and treat her like a monster? Well I think that’s what happened. I think Ingrid framed Elsa for something, made Anna think Elsa killed someone with her powers or something. And got Anna to trap her. Because that’s what happened to Ingrid. Didn’t the press release say she would resort to drastic measures or something to turn them against eachother? I think this is the drastic measure. Maybe Ingrid killed Olaf.

I think Ingrid tried to get Anna to do it, expecting that it’d be easy judging by her own experience with her own sister. Then when she couldn’t get Anna to do it, Ingrid did it herself and took away Elsa’s memory of it happening so that she could tell her Anna did it at a later date and still end up destroying the sisters’ relationship that way even though her Plan A didn’t work.

I think it will be Elsa who Urns herself, shuts herself away, after accidentally hurting Anna. But, that act of sacrifice will unfreeze Anna.
But, speaking of the urn, what will happen with the urn ashes that Mr. Gold collected. He said the magic remained, but was now in a different form. Can he recreate the urn? And, if that magic remained in the ashes of the urn, what happened to the ashes of Maleficent, or, the green dust of Zelena. They’ve been destroyed, but does their magic remain? Waiting to be reawakened?

So I think Rumple had something to do with that, too. I think Rumple also maybe had something to do with Anna’s disappearance as revenge for her taking the sorcerer’s hat from him. But by the time he tracked down Anna in Arendelle to get back the sorcerer’s hat, Ingrid had already made it our world, along with the hat. In his anger, Rumple locked up Anna and captured Elsa in the bottle.

Could that be an ingredient of the potion Rumple gives Emma next episode?

Had to be Anna. Maybe Anna thought it would take Ingrid, but it took Elsa instead. Possibly Anna/Elsa came up with the plan together and it backfired.

Pretty safe bet. Doubt it’ll be elaborated on where he got the ingredients because it’d just confuse people who didn’t see the deleted scene, but we’ll be able to assume that he used urn ashes to make the potion.
