Guys, it’s fan art. 😆
Yeah, I thought it might be. The only time the show has used a black and white title sequence was with Dr. Frankenstein’s episode. But that made sense considering the character the episode was focusing on. So, breaking out the same concept for Rumpel’s episode seems a little silly.
Well, I don’t think so – if it’s for the Manhattan episode, then the characters, namely Rumple, are finally breaking free from SB – that would call for a celebratory Key art 😉
Of course. In the lights of the new promo for 2×12, it all makes sense. Rumple’s standing out in red coat because he’s in the black and white coat of the dr frankenstein. We could've figured it out even from the different shading of the whole key art, it's not bluish but grey. And I guess the magnifying glass would refer to the Science?
I was under the impression that this is from 2×12 In the Name of the Brother. I could swear that the “O” magnifying glass has always been there. Here is a montage of opening sequences http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osq8wpz5l2A.
I did notice that this one looks more black & white, like Frankenstein’s world. I saw a promo showing Rumple in a chair wearing the cape and the background was black & white as well. Maybe the cape is a cloak that helps him be in Frankie’s world?
Yes, the magnifying glass in ‘O’ has always been there, I’m hoping, for a reason.
And yes, I think in the light of all the recent promos and sneak peeks for 2×12 it’s pretty safe to assume it refers to In the Name of the Brother. I hope it still means Rumple will be out of SB by the end of the episode 😀
