Whatever the connection is, it has to last a decent amount of time if the purpose is to get Regina and Snow to stop fighting. If only lasts one or two episodes then I don’t think either will have had enough time “in the others shoes” for it to make a difference.

I think the duration will be no more than 1-2 episodes, simply because drawing it out past then might be too prolonged. Yes, walking 10 miles in your enemy’s shoes is better than a mile, but even just that single mile might be enough to convict Regina. If they drag that plot device out too much, then it might start to lose its punch actually. Keeping Regina tethered to Snow White for a prolonged period would basically weaken Regina and force her to give in. So, when it comes time for Regina to choose redemption, we wouldn’t know whether it was something she actually wanted or whether it is basically forced upon her.

Granted, but is 1-2 episodes really enough time for any message of redemption to really sink into Regina? For it to be effective it has to be long enough for Regina to want to change. She caved to Cora in about 5 mins and evil is easier than goodness. So it has to be long enough for Regina to want to be become good and I don’t know if one episode could accomplish that. It might just annoy her to be that close to Snow and had fuel to the flames.

Maybe. I think it all depends on what sort of connection they share, be it emotional or physical. I think it also depends on how much everything happening to Regina causes her to reform. We know she’s incapable of doing magic so long as she wears that bracelet, she is being tortured by Greg, and Henry is going to be kidnapped. SB could disappear off of the map. Regina’s carefully-constructed world is literally crumbling to pieces. She may have to rely on Snow White and the Charmings for support. Allying herself with Snow to save her son would be enough to jumpstart some form of reconciliation.

It would be funny (though highly unpredictable, as the theme of the show wouldn’t allow it) if they somehow switched brains. Like Regina’s soul was in Snow’s body and vice versa. :
Freaky Friday was what came to my mind–that is a Disney tale if not fairy tale. Why not?
I am not sure it meant that though.

Yahhh! Legend of the Seeker! I miss that show *sniff* lol.
And wow…yeah I think it might be a physical connection which…ouch. That will be hard to watch.May 3, 2013 at 2:11 pm #190828spitweetParticipantWe know Snow’s darkening heart will come into play in the last two episodes and as the authors said, it will play ”a huge part” and that Snow will somehow be ”dangerously connected to Regina”.
I have seen many threads and conversations about how Neal ends up with Mulan and co, who could be Peter Pan, who is the Home Office, etc… but so far I haven’t seen a discussion about that very subject. That is mostly what excites me the most about this week’s episode.
What do you guys think will happen ?
