I think they have to resolve the darkening heart story before the end of the season, but I don’t think it will resolve the way we think. I don’t believe there is a way to “go back” as it were. I don’t think there is a spell or even TLK that could reverse the black spot on Snow’s heart, she made her choices and now the real story is living with the consequences. It doesn’t mean she still can’t be Snow White, but now she knows that she is capable of manipulation and deception. I think the dangerous connection to Regina will be an emotional connection, I do not think (and I hope) we are in for a Freaky Friday type plot. I’m hoping the spell will make it so they see the past through each others eyes.

So let’s say that she’s close to death when they find her, and the only way to rejuvenate her has something to do with Snow. Maybe, Regina needs a new heart to jumpstart her system, so Rumple removes Snow’s and sticks it into Regina? Snow’s heart becomes enchanted when Rumple takes it, and it doesn’t get crushed, so she keeps living, even though it’s in Regina’s chest cavity instead of in a box as per usual. But if Regina dies, so does Snow.
May 3, 2013 at 2:54 pm #190834SlurpeezParticipant😯 That would be an intensely self-sacrificial act on Snow’s part, to the point it might actually dumbfound EvilRegals who blame Snow for everything wrong Regina does.

O___________O
But how would it resolve? Wouldn’t Snow eventually need her heart back? Is there a time lapse on how long until Regina can have heart back?
Man, the EvilRegals reaction…proof that it’s not all Snow’s fault that Regina is the way she is."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 3, 2013 at 3:01 pm #190836PheeParticipantI know right, it’d be sort of massive. I could see Snow offering. She’s feeling massive guilt for helping to kill Regina’s mother, so if she finds herself in a position where she can save Regina’s life, she’d totally do it. If she’s in a position to help and refuses, in Snow’s mind that would be as good as committing a second act of murder on her part.

No idea. Came up with this crackpot theory totally on the fly and haven’t thought that far ahead yet.
May 3, 2013 at 3:09 pm #190839RumplesGirlKeymaster😆 Yay crackpots!
I do like it though. Snow is so guilt ridden over what she did to Cora that she even thinks going back to the EF and reclaiming the land will help, so I can see her thinking this grand sacrifice for Regina will lessen her guilt. But without her heart, tiny black spot and all, will Snow be Snow? How would make her act for the rest of the season? Graham said he didn’t feel anything because he had no heart. Would Snow become an emotional void?

Isn’t this one thread now ❓ Maybe you should lock this one if that is the case ❓

No, everything has been merged together so that it’s one topic about Snow’s heart and the connection with Regina.

Some people do crosswords to keep their mind active. I just speculate about Once.

Not only would it lessen her guilt, it would also be a huge gesture that Regina would have to acknowledge. How could she remain hell bent on revenge on the person who just saved her life? It would force a redefinition of their whole relationship.
But without her heart, tiny black spot and all, will Snow be Snow? How would make her act for the rest of the season? Graham said he didn’t feel anything because he had no heart. Would Snow become an emotional void?
Hmmm, possibly. But if it’s only gonna be a temporary situation, perhaps that’s a temporary sacrifice she’s willing to make for the long term good?
Or maybe it wouldn’t work the same way as when a heart is kept in a box?
