The Once Upon A Fans podcast did an interview with Richard Hatem. You can hear it here (starts at the 65min mark): http://www.blogtalkradio.com/onceuponafans/2014/04/02/podcast-22-review-of-quiet-minds-to-catch-a-thief-and-richard-hatem

It’s a great interview, he talks about lots of stuff, including how he got involved to begin with, their writing process and how certain characters developed, the scheduling issues.

He also mentions ideas that never made it onto the show, like Alice’s mother having been to WL and maybe she left something there that Alice would find. And he says how they had all sorts of wild ideas like Harry Houdini being in Victorian England and going to WL and people thinking he was a wizard.

He was VERY coy when they asked if one of Cyrus’ brothers could have something to do with the Aladdin story. I dunno if he was just playing along for kicks, or if there’s something to it, but it sounded like he really enjoyed that question.

I love this!!! Would be interesting if they use this for Once for the Wizard of Oz

Yeah I think one of them is. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes his way over to ONCE

I suspect its the youngest. Do we know his name? I know its not Aladdin, but it could be Ali or something. I can’t remember it >_< I suspect he wad probably Aladdins genie. Perhaps in the final episode, we will get that revelation
