1) Rumple’s Blue Ring is just a cool ring… NOW. It could become significant in the future.
Magic, at least how Jane understands it, is fuelled by the emotion that defines you, not just bloodlust. It could be love too.2) It was intended to make Rumple and Cora kindred spirits in terms of being bullied and victimized.
3) There’s something more to Emma than being the child of true love (maybe about being the saviour), in the sense that not all “true love babies” are capable of powerful magic.
4) Tamara seems to be a normal person, not a FTL counterpart. But she might be a problem in terms of a normal person finding out about magic (but Jane said she could totally be lying).
5) She hinted at possible Lacy/Gold sexytimes (“I wouldn’t leave them alone in a room with… like… chapstick or anything”). She described Lacey as “a different take on Belle”
6) We’ll learn more about the history of the curse (how it changed hands).
7) Apparently the reason there haven’t been more Rumbelle scenes is that because “for a great part of the season” they have been happy at Gold’s home, so there was no story to tell (Jane, dear, she left Gold’s home on the 4th episode.
8) Apparently Rumbelle has been heading into an interesting story that might or might not please some fans, depending on what they think Rumbelle’s happiness is.
9) Apparently Angst = Love. I FEEL SO REASSURED, JANE. But, at least, the angstier Rumbelle gets the more screentime they are likely to get.
10) Regina is definitely NOT Rumple’s daughter. I love hearing it.
11) Henry Sr. and Princess Eva are NOT related. It was clear in the episode, but Jane stressed it.
12) Princess Eva’s story will be explored further. There is clearly more there.
13) We could meet previous Dark Ones.
14) “Fiancées are like walls. They can be moved.” Tamara, look out.
15) Hook is on his way back to SB (HOW? Please TELL me he hitch-hikes I wanna know the kind of idiot who’d pick a stranger with a hook who looks beat up). Apparently Captain Swan is a controversial ship: fans are vocal for and against it. It’s too early to “pick a ship”.
16) Is the Blue Fairy good? Jane says she’s always been shown to be good.
17) Jane feels there’s a lot of Spike (from Buffy) in Hook (oh, please, no) in terms of “bad boy attitude”.
18) Apparently Jane knows we ship Hook with the floor.
19) Apparently Rumple is a romantic at heart.
I reposted this so we can review what hasn’t happened yet and what may happen. Then I bolded some sentences I believe hasn’t happened yet but I could be wrong. Note: This was around March of this year (2013)
[adrotate group="5"]June 5, 2013 at 4:44 am #197273MysteryKat25ParticipantOh Jane…I take everything she says with a grain of salt (remember when she said “her” was nobody important as far as she knew? lol). She knows a lot but says that she herself learns new things in the writer’s room all the time.
That being said some of this stuff could end up being useful – as long as we don’t take it as 100% fact it’s fine. Some of this stuff (if I’m remembering the interview correctly) came from prodding questions like “could ____ happen” and of course with this show, the answer is almost always “yes.” So some of it may be things they think of using or could potentially happen but aren’t necessarily things she just offered up as actually happening.
Keeper of Hook's Trenchcoat.

The “Her” fiasco was the interviewer misinterpreting what Jane had said and repeating said misinterpretation in a later podcast where Jane wasn’t there. Jane never actually said that Her wasn’t gonna be significant.
But it’s certainly true that Jane doesn’t know everything. I suspect she may be privy to some extra details that the other writers aren’t, because she’s one of the major players in the writing staff, but the only two people who truly know it all are K&H.
June 5, 2013 at 12:38 pm #197294RumplesGirlKeymasterI’m going to talk about #6 up there. If PP is the puppet master behind all this, maybe he created the Curse and planted the knowledge of it or whatever in FTL with the help of his fairy friend Blue, which is why she all but tells Rumple about the Curse.

See I was thinking of Aladdin on being the 1st person who started this.
#13 – We could meet previous Dark Ones
I thought this was PP
#12 – Princess Eva’s story will be explored further. There is clearly more there
Is this the backstory of Snow that he was talking about on the tweet ❓
June 5, 2013 at 3:03 pm #197315RumplesGirlKeymasterSee I was thinking of Aladdin on being the 1st person who started this.
Why? Aladdin’s story hasn’t been brought up at all. Sydney was a genie from Agrabah, but we don’t know if he had any connection to Aladdin, so why Aladdin?
I thought this was PP
I think PP and the Dark One will have a connection somehow, but PP can’t be a Dark One because only one Dark One can exist at a time.
Is this the backstory of Snow that he was talking about the tweet
If I remember correctly, this interview was right before The Miller’s Daughter, so Jane is alluding to the connection between Cora and Eva.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"June 5, 2013 at 3:18 pm #197316HappyEndingsSpectatorThe reason I think the curse started with Aladdin
Aladdin recovers a dagger, his only memento of his lost father, who had abandoned his family when Aladdin had been a small child
Isn’t this kind of what Rumble did to Bae except he kept the dagger, plus the dagger looks like it would come from a place like Aladdin ❓
#13 – We could meet previous Dark Ones
Isn’t PP kind of dead, right now he looks more of a shadow perhaps this is “technically died/trapped”, I don’t know just guessing
June 5, 2013 at 3:29 pm #197317RumplesGirlKeymasterThat quote from Aladdin..is it from the third movie? They could pull from any of the Aladdin movies, but they tend to stick with the original tale, which is the first movie that comes from the original story. Though, I agree that the story is very similar to Bae and Rumple.
As for PP: it depends on if the Shadow and Pan are the same but two separate entities which would be in line with the original myth which has Peter’s shadow being able to detach itself from Peter and cause all kinds of trouble. I don’t think Peter is dead, but he has the ability to remove his shadow and then the shadow does Peter’s bidding.
lol. We’re all just guessing at this point.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"June 5, 2013 at 3:43 pm #197318HappyEndingsSpectatorOh, I guess you are right it was the 3rd movie or so on Aladdin, I thought it was the 1st one I read the wrong one on that disney wiki. But what if the lost boys were doing the same thing as Aladdin and the 40 thiefs did ❓
June 5, 2013 at 4:05 pm #197322RumplesGirlKeymasterIt’s always possible that they’ll parallel the story without bringing in the characters. They do it all the time (Rumple playing a reversed Pied Piper, for instance and leading the children home). But S3 (at least the first half) is going to be all about NL and PP and adding *another* myth on top of it, like Aladdin and Agrabah, will only cause trouble. S3 is going to be more streamlined, according to A and E.
