So some of you know I am obsessed with a summer show called Dark Matter (see my avatar). 🙂 I’ve been reading the showrunner’s blog for updates, and they just started filming season two a few days ago. Yesterday, he posted a few pictures of the wardrobe for some new characters on the show.
I did a double take on this picture, labeled as a costume for “Misaki Han”:
Now, I would say that they got hold of Emma’s “Dark Swan” jacket, now that Once is done with it! But, Dark Matter is filmed in Toronto! They are on opposite coasts!

So what do you think guys? Is this inspiration, coincidence, or repurposing? 😀

Looking at it on it’s own I can see similarities. However when looking at it next to a picture of Dark Swan, it’s hard to see the earlier similarities in my opinion.
Actually, the Dark Swan outfit is different on the show itself compared to the initial promotional images:

SFGYeah, sorry. There was something wrong with the urls that made them appear small. Fixed them.
I actually like the one from the different show better, is that weird? I like the high collar and the red on the inside. It’s like a bit of rumple and regina fashion mixed together 😛
But yeah they look similar. Clearly not the same but similar.
