Blue’s death just kind of seemed sudden and random to me. I can’t say I was expecting, but once it happened I just felt myself confused. Of all the characters that they could have suddenly killed off I did not expect it to be Blue. Especially since there have been so many things pointing to Sneaky Fairy.
However, I do kind of hope she is dead. Its horrible to say, but she is one of the few characters that we do not have a back story for. She has been involved in several other characters back stories (some more heavily than others), yet we know nothing about her or how she became to be the highest power. Off the top of my head I cannot think of another supporting character that is as prominent in Storybrooke whose back story we have not seen. That makes me wonder where they wanted to go with Blue in the beginning of the show and if that perhaps changed over time and they suddenly felt no use for her anymore.
I wont be upset if they revive her the Peter Pan way and Tink must believe in herself and in Blue in order to revive her. But I think they better have a better explanation than “we believed you back to life”.

Shadow that impersonated Belle…
Shadow that took Blue’s shadow, (there wasn’t a shot of Blue’s shadow’s eyes)Highly suspicious. I understand that the shadow that took Blues shadow was Pan, but my theory is that the shadow that was impersonating Belle and turned Pan into a boy IS blues shadow. They didn’t show us its eyes so the theory stands v.v

I definitely believe that her and pan have some kind of shared past, especially considering how the shadow is summoned and how Rue is summoned. The whole ruling the Night thing to me is usually a bad sign.
The reason I don’t think Blue created the dagger for her loved one is cause she seems to be soo against anything that doesn’t fall exactly in the perfect plan how we have gotten to this point in the storyline. She wants Snow/Charming love cause love is good, but Regina/Robin love is a hell no and Tink loses her wings for meddling. Its cause Snow/Charming love with angry Regina gets her Storybrooke! Why does Blue want to be Storybrooke? Why does shebasically tell Rumple the only way to return to Bae is a curse? Cause she wants it!
Why was her shadow soo easy to take?
Maybe Blue/Rue was losing power in the EF and other worlds…Maybe she needed to be somewhere where she would be at the top. Anything that deviates from her plan is a problem.
Maybe by “killing” her, and then reviving her, she would be immune to the new curse, which safely locks away all our key players.
We know Rue believes fairies can’t go falling in love. What if once upon a time Blue/Rue had a sister…one who went out and fell in love! She broke protocol, and Blue/Rue made the dagger for that man – who then becomes the dark one. I just really like the idea that Rue made the dagger and ultimately created the Dark One…I mean come on, she rules the night – creating the “dark one” seems right up that alley.
I definitely think there was a little more about how Blue/Rue wouldn’t restore TInk’s wings. She was just so meanly happy to say no. Keeping Tink, someone who really believe in real love, in her powerless place. Someone like Tink who may not be 100% on team Blue.
I really want Regina and Tink to stay friends! And what happens to all the other worlds when this curse is cast? I mean there’s the EF, old Neverland, Wonderland, and our normal World?
I think Regina will make the ultimate sacrifice and that’s how we find out the connection between Regina and Rue/Blue.
Does Henry Pan know he has to kill the one thing he loves most to get the curse to work? Doesn’t he only love himself? Like even Regina and Rumple have always been capable of love…twisted love, but love.
Plus I really am not digging Jared Gilmore anymore….Would anybody else want Henry Pan to die in that body….and the Peter Henry to live on? I mean they could just be like well you look a whole lot like your great grandpa.
There’s my rant. All cause of Blue Fairy.December 9, 2013 at 11:22 am #229115angiebelleParticipantHonestly, I think it’s most likely that dead is dead. We saw the body in this case, and they declared her gone. The only way I could see this being reversed is if it ends up being possible to revive her with belief. Maybe Tink helps her and earns her wings back. But I’m not counting on it and would not be surprised if she’s truly gone.

Here’s the one that took Rumple. It’s got the light blue eyes, like the one that took Blue’s shadow.
It is curious that the shadow impersonating Belle had different coloured eyes. December 9, 2013 at 12:09 pm #229123killianhookfanParticipantI don’t think she’s dead. I still think she is sneaky and has a major role to play in everything – last night’s episode convinced me even more of that and made me think back to older episodes that she has been in involved in as well.
First off, the scene with Tink in the diner was highly suspicious to me. Upon watching the episode again I confirmed to myself that Blue seemed genuinely bothered by the fact that Tink had Pixie Dust and then seemed relieved to hear that she couldn’t consistently get it to work. And when she said she can’t believe in Tink if Tink can’t even believe in herself I had the feeling she was trying to mess with Tink’s self-confidence because she doesn’t WANT her to be able to get the Pixie Dust to work. I think Blue was clearly fearful for some reason of what would happen if Tink could get the Pixie Dust to work. The fact that she is suddenly attacked and killed by the shadow the next time we see her after that scene seems way too suspicious to me. I think Blue and Pan are working together.
This made me think back to the beginning of the show. So Blue brings in an Enchanted Tree that Geppetto is going to have to carve into a wardrobe that will only allow two people to escape the curse. Wouldn’t you know that Geppetto is a parent who has desparately wanted a child and who would of course want HIS child to escape the curse. And how convenient that the child that the Blue Fairy then sends through with Emma to watch over and protect her is none other than Pinocchio, whom the Blue Fairy would know has about a 1% chance of actually following the rules and doing what he is supposed to do. Given what we know about how the Blue Fairy is with following rules does it make ANY sense that she would lie and allow Pinocchio to go through the wardrobe OR that she would even consider allowing someone like Pinocchio who is known for lying to be in charge of the person responsible for breaking the curse??
Then we have grown up August. He had figured out that Tamara was evil and was trying to warn everyone about her but, no, when the Blue Fairy changes him back to his non-wooden self he is changed back into the child version of Pinochhio who has no memory of Tamara.
Looking back on some of these past things it just seems like Blue has been involved in some things that have actually worked against the good guys. Now that Pan is deciding to enact a curse it seems a bit too convenient to me that suddenly Blue is “dead.” It would be suspicious if she disappeared because she can’t leave town so if she needs to be saved from the curse, “killing” her off to protect her from the curse seems like a good option. Remove her shadow would be, essentially, removing her soul from her body so she wouldn’t be affected by a curse. Once the curse has taken affect her shadow can return to her body.
But she also has a perfect cover if the curse doesn’t work out. If Pan dies or the curse just doesn’t work, she can get her shadow back and say that when Pan’s magic died her shadow returned since his shadow was the one that ripped hers away. Everyone would just be thrilled that she was alive and would never suspect her of being associated or behind the dark magic.
