ParticipantI saw Ginnifer use Hebrew on Twitter once so I was wondering if anyone knows if she is Jewish. That would be so cool- I’m Jewish as well. 🙂 Also, I grew up (at least from age 10 through college) in Germantown, TN which is a suburb of Memphis where she grew up, and I’m only 3 and a half years younger than she is. I wonder if our paths ever crossed. Here’s a crazy thought- if she is Jewish, she has likely been to the Memphis Jewish Community Center. When I was in high school, I appeared in two musicals that were put on at the theater there- Annie and Oliver. Wouldn’t it be totally wild if it turned out she had gone to see one of my shows? 😆

Funny, I was wondering about many of their faiths today and stumbled across an article which seemed to confirm that she is Jewish.
Here’s one:

Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

ParticipantHee! I thought she might be! That’s awesome! It makes it even more likely that we may have been in the same place once.
Aaah!! I just noticed that wiki article says she was active in BBYO at the MJCC! I was a member too throughout high school, and she probably graduated my freshman year. My first year, all the freshman went around to parties thrown by each of the groups so we could decide which one we wanted to join. I know she wasn’t in my group, but if she was a member, she might have been at one of those parties! Of course, there would be no way to know for sure unless I had the chance to ask her.

ParticipantOn the commentary for the season 1 dvd, in the episode where MM and David end up in the wood cabin in the rain, she was talking about getting a “Jewfro” when her hair gets rained on – goes all frizzy. It made me laugh 🙂 She’s such a cutie.

Yep, I listened to that commentary too. She even added “I can say that cause I’m Jewish!” I think Adam and Eddy might be Jewish themselves.

It wouldn’t be a surprise at all. The show drips Judeo-Christian thinking, and in a very positive way. Of course, that could also be due to the nature of fairy-tales, as well.

ParticipantHmmm. This is interesting. Cool to find out 🙂 I was just thinking about how there’s a book out there called “The gospel according to Lost” and it would be interesting if someone eventually published a book similarly about Once.
