Is Once Upon a Time New on Sunday, April 14?

Sorry Oncers. Unfortunately, there will not be a new episode of Once Upon a Time airing on Sunday, April 14. This is the third consecutive week without a new episode. The series will air a new episode next week, April 21, with Season 2, Episode 19: “Lacey.”

All is not lost, however. ABC will be airing a OUAT special called “The Price of Magic” in the time slot. The special promises to bring new viewers up to date, while still providing something for faithful viewers with the exploration of the question ”What is the price of magic?” in the world of OUAT.

We can’t help think that ABC’s inconsistent scheduling for OUAT has contributed to a recent decline in the ratings. OUAT co-creator Adam Horowitz insists the scheduling gap is only due to the nature of production, and we suppose we are glad that this mid-season gap will make the show’s summer hiatus shorter. The series will air the final episode of Season 2 on May 5. Though the show hasn’t been officially picked up for a third season, we are pretty confident it will be.

This really doesn’t look good to me either the repeats that they had was a joke and now I wonder about this episode. 😥

According to Adam’s Twitter it is a behind the scene episode that explores past episodes and future episodes and will feature both he and Eddy discussing the season as a whole. It’s worth tuning in for, I believe. I love the BTS stuff, plus we’ll get a preview of Lacey at the end!

See I don’t want to see the behind the scenes stuff it would ruin the show for me, I just like to see the finish product. I wonder if what the talk about in the future is the same thing they told at the festival.

As for the preview of Lacey I can almost bet you it will be the one we just got.

I’m excited to see Price of Magic tonight – I love the BTS stuff and it’s got to be better than the enhanced episodes of the past two weeks! We’ve known for weeks that Lacey will air on April 21 – they’re just building the anticipation! (AND IT’S WORKING!). Hang in there, HappyEndings. Soon we will have four straight weeks of new episodes!

I only watch the 1st enhanced episode started to watch the 2nd but couldn’t even make if after 5mins.

Question: Last year they didn’t do these enhanced episodes they played new episodes so what gives? ❓

Here is an idea why didn’t they show us the parts where they cut out for example the scene with Emma and Regina fighting in the closet and Emma told Regina that she knows Regina killed Graham. I guess if I would have boughten the DVD version I would have gotten all the cut scenes but I didn’t. 💡

Those are sneak peaks, not promos. Promos are very different. They give you a brief glimpse at the episode as a whole whereas sneak peeks give you one full scene. The promo we got 3 weeks ago at the end of Selfless, Brave and True was for the enhanced episode and for the Price of Magic. They won’t show that one again because we’ve now seen the enhanced episodes and the new special.

I guess I can understand that, but I don’t share your opinion. I like the BTS stuff. If they’re talking about the future it’s probably some of the same stuff at Paley, but I would count on new insights and new information.

We still had long hiatus breaks. This time around they’re just replaying a special version of the episode. And we got one special right before the first episode of S2.

While I personally like it, if they did that it might mean people wouldn’t buy the DVDs and that’s a big part of revenue for TV shows. DVDs probably make up the largest portion of merchandise income, that’s why there are so many extras on them: to entice the buyer to purchase them.

They could do maybe Season 1, I didn’t know that when you buy the CD’s you don’t get them what a rip off, I wish I had known that I would have boughten the DVD instead.

I love all the BTS stuff since this is what I am getting my bachelors degree in so I for one am looking forward to tonight’s special episode The Price Of Magic. I love spoilers so I’m anxious to hear & see what Adam & Eddy have to share with us about the last 4 episodes of the season
