Prince Phillip can’t be dead. Mulan and Aurora need to go on a quest to get his soul back, because I refuse to believe that he is just gone that fast.

The promos did show MM, Emma, and Mulan (was Aurora there too?) so so maybe they go on that quest together

I don’t think Phillip is dead either. Adam and Eddy hinted his soul was retrievable and that they didn't see him die. This is all sounding very reminiscent of the Disney cartoon Hercules when he went to the underworld to save Meg’s soul, and he became an immortal because of his heroics. Could we meet Hercules, since we’ve seen Greek mythology already? I don’t mean this as a “serious” theory, but still fun to speculate. 🙂

If you follow Greek myth though, there are various different locations that make up the ‘underworld’ as charming calls it.Technically much like in Dante’s ‘The Inferno’ the ‘underworld’ ( re: Hades ) has different layers.
For instance, Tartarus which is located beneath Hades as a separate realm; kind of like the nine realms of Hell described in the aforementioned text/book.So if Mulan & Company were to have to travel to the ‘underground’ – they’d need to start at the entrance to the Asphodel Meadows.

At least that’s how I see it anyway 😉

Yes, I don’t think he’s dead either. I had another idea about how to possibly get back the lost souls, but using Hercules or rather just incorporating a similar story like the movie makes sense because of the Disney connection. Plus, I could see 3 of the new characters (Aurora, Mulan, or Lancelot) deciding to make some kind of sacrifice by staying in Hades while the others get out if it came down to that. Not that it will come down to that, but it does seem like at least one of them will sacrifice themselves since that seems to be part of the theme being set up this year.
My idea in my Bae-obsessed brain though was that somehow he is connected in helping destroy the Wraiths because his name means great or fatal fire, and that’s what was used to attack them. Of course, his storyline doesn’t have anything to do with that particular storyline at least not yet.

His soul is probably in Hades. That can connect Midas and some of the Greek Myths if they choose to take that road. I think they are focusing on Mulan because i’m not an Aurora fan. She is a pain in the “you know what”.
