Ads are a necessary evil. We understand the need for them and appreciate all you do daily to keep this Internet home alive, Daniel.  Thank-you very much for your dedication and long hours.

Input: The ads right in the middle of individual posts truly ARE invasive and really break up the cohesive design of the forums…as well as the thought process of the readers. It is as if everyone’s opinions are squeezed in around messages  from our sponsers and don’t hold the most value. It often looks cluttered and creates an “unwelcoming”  image.

If there is a way to at least remove the ads from individual posts and keep posters’  comments (and continuing thread) whole and the main focal point of the forum it would help keep the strong sense of community alive.

I shrunk it from 300 × 250 to 468 × 60. That should make it less intrusive.

Shrinking the ads down is better, but it would be preferable if they could stay out of actual posts and either be on the side bar or below the last post on the page.

Ads have started making a dingy noise when they pop up, the “you’ve got mail” ding. It’s really annoying, any chance of being able to turn it off?

It’s stopped doing that now Daniel. The two ads I had coming up when it was doing it was a google play one and a phone one something nexus.
