Regina needed Jefferson when they use the hat to go to Wonderland because “hat’s rules” – two go in, two go out. She planned all along to leave Jefferson in WL in place of her father.
So, if Jefferson was able to go to Victor’s Land Without Color, does that mean it’s really what door they are going throug/each land has it’s own rules?
And when Jefferson said hat’s rules did he mean they had to follow the rules in each land they went to or did he take someone else with him to LWC…..Grace’s mother, maybe? Was she his partner when they needed two to go to a world, she would wait in that world until say, Jefferson and Victor returned and then her and Jefferson would leave Victor in his world and retun together to EF? She got stuck in LWC? Could that be what Jefferson meant when he said Grace lost her mother beause of his job?[adrotate group="5"]May 27, 2013 at 9:19 pm #196328RumplesGirlKeymaster@Gypsy wrote:

Jefferson and Whale go through the hat to LWC and they cam through to FTL so how did that work unless Jefferson went to LWC with someone and then came back with someone…unless she got stuck??
That event was about..10ish years prior to the Curse, so it would fit the timeline with Grace’s age if she’s about the same age as Henry or slightly older.
But that raises the question of how did she get stuck in LWC and, perhaps more importantly, *who* is she?? For the longest time I thought it would be Alice but with the new show, it can’t be."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 27, 2013 at 9:22 pm #196331HappyEndingsSpectator@Gypsy wrote:

I really hope they revist those two things – Grace’s mother and the hat rules in relation to WL and LWC beause they’re bugging meMay 27, 2013 at 9:36 pm #196335DemiletoParticipant@Gypsy wrote:

Yeah, it doesn’t seem so. Still, it’s rather remarkable how OUATinWL’s Alice resembles Grace. Curiouser and curiouser. 🙂

Yeah she does, but she doesn’t look old enough to have a 10/11 year old daughter.

As opposed to Snow and Charming as Emma’s parents? 😆
Seriously though, the little we know about OUATinWL makes that show’s timeline be very confusing: it starts in (almost) present-day Storybrooke, but Alice is in a Victorian England sanitarium. Time travel? Can’t be, Adam and Eddy already said there won’t be time travel in OUAT, and I suppose that extends to the sister show as well since it’s the same universe. A Victorian England specific to Alice’s story? Could be, but they already opened themselves to literary characters that are originally from our world really be from The Land Without Magic with the Darlings. A Matrix-like reality designed to destroy Alice? Who knows!
And then there’s the reference to her travelling to other worlds, facing pirates and mermaids. It can’t be a coincidence that the trailer makes such an obvious reference to Neverland of all possible realms, this has to be a hint that, like Bae, she stayed there long enough to be alive in present day Land Without Magic even if she was born in real Victorian England.
Then again, the trailer also strongly hinted at Alice and Cyrus being true loves, I’d think Alice wouldn’t be having children with anyone else other than him if that’s the case.

I hadn’t considered that. If her sister is a realm jumper too, that would be interesting to see.

Lol! Good point….but we know why that is the way it is.
They said OUATinWL was a stand alone show, so, to so closely intertwine them like that, it would seem that we would have to tune in to OUATinWL to get the backstory of a character that originated on OUAT. -
