Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory – Door #13
I don’t know but I thought they said they weren’t going to do Star War ❓
They could do nods to stories they love without us ever getting to see all of the worlds. There was a wizard hat in Rumple’s house that they said could be a nod to the Sorcerer’s Apprentice and/or Harry Potter but I doubt we’ll really ever SEE either one. The doors are similar: some we’re shown up close (like the green curtain that is sure to be Oz) and others are just nods to other worlds they love whether they can show them to us or not.
I think we’ll definitely get to explore at least a little bit of a few worlds (we’ve seen Wonderland, we’re sure to see Oz eventually, we know the Land Without Color is traveled to through Jefferson’s hat and we may see a few others) and the others can be nods. We’re never going to actually see anything with Star Wars but it is one of their favorite stories so they could mention it (the character they wrote for on Lost had a thing for Star Wars) and they used the ringtone on Greg’s phone – that’s the most we’ll get with that more than likely.
As much as I’d love to know for sure what each door is, I doubt we’ll know anytime soon, especially if some of them are just nods to other stories they can’t really use. Maybe when all is said and done, one of the magazines or DVDs or something will have an in-depth look at what each of the doors was supposed to represent.
So far a bunch have been deduced (even if it is tough when there are 2 possibilities for the Land Without Color – you would think that one would have been easy!) but a bunch we may never know. =/ I hope we get more though, I really do. They’ve opened up the worlds a lot so there are tons of possibilities.

I vaguely remember, and I could be totally wrong, Eddy and Adam talking about that room of doors and how they can really add any world they want to since we didn’t get to see all of them. I wish I could remember where I read about it, but it’s been over a year ago. Might have to go back and google to see what they actually said about the room.

I agree with this. A lot of the doors are probably Easter eggs or references that we’ll never get until the end of the series in a big wrap up special or something. Maybe what’s more important than each other lands is just the demonstration that there ARE so many lands. It back up what Jefferson told Emma about a long line of lands, pressed up against each other. This scene shows that he’s not crazy.

Regina needed Jefferson when they use the hat to go to Wonderland because “hat’s rules” – two go in, two go out. She planned all along to leave Jefferson in WL in place of her father.
So, if Jefferson was able to go to Victor’s Land Without Color, does that mean it’s really what door they are going throug/each land has it’s own rules?
And when Jefferson said hat’s rules did he mean they had to follow the rules in each land they went to or did he take someone else with him to LWC…..Grace’s mother, maybe? Was she his partner when they needed two to go to a world, she would wait in that world until say, Jefferson and Victor returned and then her and Jefferson would leave Victor in his world and retun together to EF? She got stuck in LWC? Could that be what Jefferson meant when he said Grace lost her mother beause of his job?Jefferson said that the “same amount of people go through, same amount comes back”-rule is the hat’s rule, not his, which for me means that it’s not specific to one world (like Wonderland), but to the realm jumping via hats in particular.
As for Grace’s mother being Jefferson’s realm jumping partner: that is an awesome idea, but she doesn’t have to be stuck in the LWC, for somehow Jefferson had to have come back to the Enchanted Forest. Granted, he could have pulled a Hook and used a body or Grace’s mother’s body, but that seems somehow unlikely. They could have just as easily gone to Wonderland after going to the LWC and something happened to her there, which is why Jefferson hates Wonderland. And in my oppinion you don’t just hate a land (aka Wonderland) because it’s annoying, but because for instance you lost someone (whatever lost means in that context ;)).

Yeah, I agree. I was just using LWC as an example.
Grace’s mother could’ve gotten ‘lost’ in any world.
Maybe even Oz.
Now that it looks like she’s not gonna turn out to Alice, she could be Dorothy.
That would be cool.
K&H said in a EW interview that Oz wasn’t a question of if, but a question of when.
And Oz was foreshadowed in the pilot eps and alluded to in The Doctor.May 29, 2013 at 4:26 pm #196492vroniParticipantI’m dying to see Oz! But if Grace’s mother is Dorothy, why does Jefferson hate Wonderland?
June 2, 2013 at 6:19 pm #196990HappyEndingsSpectatorOk, how about Door #6, the blue door for Atlantis?
Question: Was it on one of the tweets that WL and FL rules apply in the hat which would be the two in and two out thing but they didn’t say about the other lands
June 2, 2013 at 6:28 pm #196991MysteryKat25ParticipantJefferson said that the same number that go in have to come back out, hat’s rules (I’m not quoting because I’m not sure if that was the exact quote, does somebody know?) but he did say the same number, not a specific number. We’ve seen it be 2 in various cases but pretty sure they confirmed what Jefferson said on twitter ages ago, that the rules of the hat are just the same number go in as come out.
So it’s not really a land-by-land basis, but rather a method of transportation and the hat has a number clause whereas things like beans seem to be whoever jumps in together before it closes. As far as I know it’s the hat’s rules regardless of where it goes.
We’ve seen 3 go into the hat before (wraith + Emma + Snow) though we didn’t see them travel back the same way so it’s not quite the same.
Still haven’t figured out exactly how Jefferson got Frankenstein to FTL but took Rumple with him over originally and all 3 were in FTL at once but then only Jefferson & Frankenstein jumped back into the hat….but as far as I know the old hat rules apply so I’m sure there’s an explanation somewhere (I like the idea that Jefferson’s wife was a helper in all that and we just haven’t seen it yet).

❓
Also, instead of losing his wife maybe she wanted to stay instead kind of like what Rumbles wife did to him 😕
Wasn’t there someone else standing by Rumble before the Dr and Jefferson jumped in the hat ❓ :
June 2, 2013 at 6:37 pm #196994MysteryKat25ParticipantIt’s possible. If she was left in the same place a lot she could have met someone else possibly. In which case poor Jefferson 🙁 (I’m inclined to think she died but with this show you never know).
As for door #6 it’s possible. Wouldn’t surprise me if they put at least a nod to Atlantis in whether we’d see it or not.
