Hey Oncers!
I’m Stacey, and I’m a 20 year old psych student.
During absolutely every class I can’t help but think which characters have which personalities and such.
Plus when I should be studying for exams (like now) I choose to go here and look for spoilers instead 🙂[adrotate group="5"]Proud Keeper of the Dinglehoppers

I’m Laurie and I’m a voice teacher in southern California. I have never even been close to this level of addiction with anything, TV show, anything. I teach at home so I am thankfully (or cursedly) near the TV and computer most of the day. I’ve been to Steveston (Storybrooke) and am going back in August. I have lost interest in pretty much every other show I watch. I have to have my OUAT fix daily. I’ve been watching since January. I had a sinus infection and couldn’t teach so I found the show on Netflix(my sister and nieces are huge fans). I watched the whole Season 1 in about 2 days. Then I bought Season 2 on iTunes and also bought the Season 1 DVD’s because I didn’t want to miss anything. Robert Carlyle’s commentary of Skin Deep was worth the price of the entire set.
I have a OUAT phone case, replica of Snow’s wedding necklace, blue lace dress similar to Belle’s in The Crocodile (stlll too small but I’m working on it!), a playlist with all the songs from fan videos I watch. Oh yeah I’m addiicted to those too. Seriously. Obsessed would be too kind a description.April 13, 2013 at 7:32 am #185953Killian JonesParticipantHi Everyone I’m Anthony I’m 25 and I’m a Onceaholic
I enjoy my CaptainSwan so I guess you can call me a Hookling.
I’ve been known to love my Rumbelle with a Hamburger and Iced Tea
Of course at 7:15AM is when I need to I have to have my Snowing
Although on occasion I’ve made a move to enjoy a little SwanQueen
Other times what I really want is SwanThief and that’s my fix for a while
Another thing I’ve found that is that WoodenSwan can be extremely tantalizing
I started with The Pilot went from Snow Falls, to Broken and I went crazy for The Crocodile
So many stories of true love unfolding it was all so mezmorizing
With all the sword fights and noble knights and all the magical deals
All the podcasts and fanfics, fanvids and theories could never be enough for me
And when Rumple called Belle in The Miller’s daughter all I could say was Rumbelle feels
At least now I know that when Storybrooke awakened I wasn’t the only one who went crazy
I think back to Gremma when a lonley hunter missed his heart is where I went way over the line
But the great thing is the world is full of Oncers who are all addicted to Once Upon a TimeI haven’t tried to write a sonnet in a while but oh well gave it a shot 😆
April 13, 2013 at 11:29 am #185961KebParticipantI’m Keb and I’m 33.
I’ve always loved fairy tales and Disney, so when I heard about Once Upon a Time, I had to watch the first episode air. And it was great and I laughed and was intrigued, so it became the one TV show that I actually watched–but it was no big deal if I missed an episode, because it would be online the next day. Still, it’s the first show I’ve actually paid attention to since there was a Star Trek series on the air, so that was new.
When Skin Deep aired, I started talking about the show to everyone I knew. I knew I’d love the episode as soon as I found out Belle was coming in the promo, and…well…how can you not? (I still think it’s the best episode ever–and one of few that stands all alone very well.)
But I wasn’t obsessed–just a normal fan who could go about my life. By the end of Season One I was predicting that Belle would be important to Season Two, which had me eager to see what would happen, but I wasn’t yet obsessed. I wasn’t seeking out everything I could find about it. Oh no.
That didn’t happen until the Outsider, when I couldn’t get Once out of my head for ten minutes. I started falling asleep with Once in my head, and waking up with Once in my head, and dreaming about Once in between. I’d find myself thinking about it WHILE teaching class. My sister started timing how long it would take for me to bring up Once in conversation. (I actually made it an hour and a half during a dinner out once, but I’m not sure if it counts because I did mention the Disney Version Belle.) And as my obsession consumed me, I started timelining, I found this place and started listening to all the podcasts official and not (and I don’t even like podcasts, because with my hearing loss it’s much easier to read and I always use captioning when I can), I even stumbled into Tumblr. I now have a timeline that’s got just about every event in the series on it (though I am still tweaking it as I rewatch season one), plus ideas for fan videos, a fanfic in progress, and a ton of other stuff in my spreadsheet and about a jillion screencaps and pictures from Once on my computer.
And I still fall asleep thinking Once and wake up thinking Once, running constant theories through my mind.
It is true that the second half of season two coincided with my final semester on my Masters, which may be a strong contributor to my obsession, but it’s bad enough I’m sometimes scared of my own brain. And yet…this show, this fandom…too amazing to let go of now that I’ve found it. I’m gonna scrape through this final semester one way or another, inspired by “When you find something worth fighting for, you never give up.”

April 13, 2013 at 1:04 pm #185969PriceofMagicParticipantI’m PriceofMagic, I’m 22 and I’m a Once addict.
I loved Disney films as a kid and always wondered what it would be like if there was a live action version of the disney characters. Because I live in the UK, we are several months behind America in showing Once (Thank God for internet, Season 2 of Once started here last Sunday, I watch them with the knowledge of later episodes so I can pick up little clues I may have missed before). The first episode of Once I saw was Skin Deep. I watched it online and I was immediately hooked. I kept watching online episodes from there onwards then I found out the good news that Once was going to air on TV on Channel 5 starting April 1st 2012. I kept watching it online and on TV so I was double dosing on Once. I joined this forum to discuss Once with other like minded individuals since no one else I know watches Once. As time has gone on, I wasn’t just discussing episodes and theories but starting my own threads such as The Caption Thread and running a Best Couple game to see us all through the hiatuses.
I regret nothing. 😀

Keeper of FelixApril 13, 2013 at 1:12 pm #185970RumplesGirlKeymasterMy name is RumplesGirl (or Jacquelyn) and I’m a Once addict.
I’m a 25 (soon to be 26)
Graduate student in comparative religion, graduating in about a month provided my advisor decides my thesis is good enough
I ship Rumbelle harder than I’ve ever shipped anything.
I will always defend Rumple, no matter what he does. It’s probably really annoying.
I’ve loved Disney movies since I was a kid and for 6 years I was madly addicted to LOST. My addiction to LOST is what brought me to OUaT, I knew Adam and Eddy were capable of writing great things so I decided to check it out. I realized I was seriously addicted by the time of Skin Deep and went hunting for websites and forums to see what other people were saying and that’s how I stumbled onto this little gem. Been here ever since.
I keep joking to people that this fandom is ruining my academic career cause I think I spend more time talking to all of you and theorizing and trying to find spoilers than I do caring about my thesis.Like PriceofMagic said: I regret nothing!
