I am a little confused.  This isn’t a shipping thread so I think anyone should be able state their opinion.

So we to answer the question, OUAT is really Emma’s journey with strong side of snowing and Regina.   it’s about Emma getting her happy ending.   At the end of the series she needs to find herself  happy with her life and  overcoming the obstacles in her life to reach a point of happiness.  i still see Emma striving to get her happy ending and I see her getting there at the end.

Because Emma has closed herself from others, I want her life to be full of healthy supportive relationships of all types, familial, romantic and Friendships.   this show makes clear that even if you lose your true love, you can still find happiness if you are willing to open your heart and not drown in your sorrow/pain.  Both Regina and  hook made that mistake.  To a certain extent, Emma has made that mistake.  Her life was empty before Henry waltzed in.  She closed herself off from everyone.  The thing is everyone has bad things happen to them.  on this show even fairy tale characters don’t have a prefect easy life.  There is struggle  in life but if you are willing to appreciate the small moments, life is still worth living and celebrating.

Keeper of Hook and Emma's smoldering first kiss, a certain Pirate's sauciness, the Evil Queen's snarkiness, Grumpy's gruffness and a drop of true love to make it all go down smooth.

That was about an incident that took place in a shipping thread.

    Not this thread.

Ah, ok *phew*. That confused me too. I actually got a little scared of posting for a bit there. Thanks for clearing it up!

I think that there is still hope, Neal learned that magic can be a means to end, by seeing how much his father fought to get back to him. It took him a a while to forgive Rumple, but once he did, he did so fully as evidenced in their conversation on the JR. I think Neal was trying to emulate his father’s dedication to his son, by trying to do the same thing for Henry; no matter the cost, I need to be with my family. He was also guilty of the same thing everyone in town was of; assuming that because Rumple is as powerful as he is, that he will be able to combat any type of magic at any cost. I find it tragic that the moment he finally shows that he trusts his father implicitly, that is what brings him down.
