I don’t think she stabbed herself. From what I saw of the set video, she just raises the dagger in the air and then disappears. As for Cora, she was probably just theorizing what would happen.
Well, whatever happens, it sounds like Emma is sacrificing herself to save everyone else from darkness. Does that mean Emma herself takes on the darkness by adding her name to the dagger and becoming the next dark one? It could be. Josh Dallas hinted at something terrible happening, and said it would be distressing to fans. What else could Josh Dallas mean by “it’s the worst thing that could possibly happen” in reference to who the big bad of S5 is unless he means Emma? I predict she adds her own name to dagger to become the next big bad of S5.

I wonder if there’s misdirection in these publicly-filmed scenes, to keep the big surprise secret like with “Who shot JR?” on Dallas. That’s a lot of film crew workers to pay, even for a few extra minutes, but it was April 1st.

That’s been suggested for so many plot points that have been spoiled by fan set reports and photos, and it has yet to happen.

Notice how the Author’s little notecards took immediate effect on Cruella. Say, for whatever reason, whether at Rumple’s request, Belle’s, or someone else’s, the Author (whoever he is) writes “Rumplestilskin is not the Dark One.” At that point Rumple turns human and probably immediately disintegrates into dust as time finally catches up with him. But the curse of DO is not lifted — instead what is created is the paradox of the nameless dagger which essentially causes some kind of cosmic cataclysm which Emma must prevent by sacrificing herself. Just a theory.
April 30, 2015 at 6:07 pm #303352Jenna_BParticipantAw man I just lost my post! Stinkin phones. Ok bare bones – someone remind me, do we know of any of the Dark Ones ever actually trying to kill themselves? I know the last pretty much set Rumple up to kill him but that’s not exactly the same as plunging the dagger into your own heart. I’m thinking that’s the key if Emma does try to sacrifice herself. Or what happens if the product of true love – the epitome of white magic, if you will – attempts it.
As far as Rumbelle goes, I get the dissenting opinions, but I think if you strip my last comment to simply Rumple has to truly want to redeem himself and be prepared to give up his power for Belle – and I do think he can get there eventually – then there will be hope for Rumbelle

True, though there is nothing to say that they didn’t shoot anything in doors after the fact, especially if some heavy CGI was required

In a word: no

Honest to god? That still wouldn’t do it for me. What Rumple has become is sickening. He’s Not!Rumple and the way he has manipulated, toyed with, and used Belle is utterly disgusting. If she goes back to him after everything–after using her to put the town in danger, after lying to get his dagger back, after teaming up with villains who wanted to erase the heroics of Belle’s “friends and family–if she goes back to him after all that, then she is a ninny. A strawheaded ninny prop who’s only purpose is to be Google and arm candy.
Besides that, nothing in this season thus far has shown that Rumple is even remotely close to wanting to give up his power

Rump is already this seasons big bad. A&E have said that many times. If they are going to make him even MORE evil next season, then you know what? I completely wash my hands of Rump. Let him die. Idc about Belle being alone, she’ll live. They make Rump even worse than he has become than redemption for him is gone and while he can always get it, I doubt it will be in a believable way. I just can’t even with the thought.

The Outlaw Queen story has already proven that there can be more than one True Love on this show. I say bring on the studs… or you know they could create a storyline for Belle outside of a relationship with a man.

THAT! (Only replace “ninny” with a stronger term not allowed on this forum to properly convey exactly how stupid I think she’d be.)

So I started running through other residents of SB to see who else is available, and for 5 seconds I shipped WoodenBeauty (because the writer and the girl who adores books). But then I decided that Belle should leave town. If Rumple dies, she inherits his wealth, and uses that money to go and travel around the world, exploring all the things, seeing all the places, learning about all the people and cultures. Even not having Rumple, that would be a happy ending for her, because it’s what she’s always dreamed of, even before Rumple was in her life. His (death) proving her the resources to make her dream come true would keep him as part of her happiness even though he’s not there with her.

Second that. Bonus points if Belle gets to take a gal pal with her like Ruby or Mulan.
