Ugh. Man. I am so excited. Re-watching the pilot episode with Grumpy ringing the bell shouting, “The curse is almost here!” And the cloud of smoke coming in the distance… I really hope to see the continuation of that scene. It provokes so much emotion and anticipation and knowing what I know now, it almost puts me on the verge of tears. Its powerful!

More Math.

Stroybrooke is created in 1983, add 28 years to that, that makes present day 2011. Subtract 11 years from that, that puts Henry’s birth year at 2000.

1983 + 28 puts us into the pilot which premiered in 2011 when Henry was 10 so he was born in 2001. The clock has moved since then so present day has moved along with us (though not a full 2 years yet since Henry is 11, but we haven’t gotten to the fall yet either), but so far it makes sense.

Present day and the 28 year thing are no longer the same thing since time has been moving since Emma arrived on her 28th birthday and she’s been there for awhile.
