ParticipantHow can I see from the main forum menu which forums and subforums have new posts without going in to the forums and looking at the individual threads? The old forum had little colored indicators next to the for names to show which ones had new posts. I find the sidebar is not helpful for that.

Daniel is working on this, but in the meantime, there are two options.
1) “Latest topics” are the most recently created threads. So, the newest theories, spoilers, ect.
2) “Recent replies” is the most current reply in any thread, be it a new one or an old one.
Like I said, Daniel is working on getting something like the “newest topics” we had on the old forums back up. I find that going to “latest topics” is the most helpful as our older threads aren’t getting too much discussion lately.

ParticipantOkay, this is really weird. I’m locked out of the Captain Swan thread but when I click on the Recent Posts, it shows that I posted 5 minutes ago and then I check the thread, and there’s nothing there.

ParticipantGoogle Chrome’s Norton Identity Safe plugin, one of Norton Internet Security’s tools, is apparently conflicting with the website. It was hiding the text field of the chat box – I could only see the chat history – and adding gibberish text to my posts until I deactivated it.

ParticipantLooks like I can post again in the Captain Swan thread. I’ll try again in the Comic Con thread.

Keymaster@obisgirl, when you were locked out, what was the error you received?

ParticipantI would be taken back to the first page in the thread and then when I jumped to the last page, my post wouldn’t be there. But everything seems to be fine again in the Captain Swan thread.
I cant post fine in the Comic Con thread.

ParticipantOK, so what’s the trick to getting multiple quotes to show up in a post? I’m sure I’ve seen people doing it, but can’t figure it out.
As an example, this is something I just posted. If I hit the quote link on the post, and don’t mess with the code, I get this…

Yes Phee is in the habit of converting people to her ships.
BWAHAHAHAAA! It may be crack, but it’s comprehensively thought out crack. 😉
If I try to take out the html, and just use the bbcodes to do a quote within a quote like it used to work on the old forums, I get this…
