Tonight we learned that the law of magic Jafar wishes to break is to make his father love him. Do you think this rather human desire justifies what Jafar is doing or has done?

Gee, Jafar and Rumple have that in common. Doing evil things all on the name of love. So if Rumple is still loved and respected despite what he has done, there is hope for Jafar.

Nothing is impossible on OUAT. Everything has a way of repeating itself. Keeper of the Keeper tread: https://oncepodcast.com/forums/topic/official-keeper-thread-3/#post-217924

In my head the one big difference is that Rumple is searching for someone who has loved him all along (Bae) but Jafar is trying to force love out of someone who never loved him in the first place (his father). It’s a very human desire to be loved but if the cost is breaking magic…is it ok?
