They sent her on some ancient quest to find a Dragon, she swore not to return until her task complete…but actually tough luck for her, the dragon moved to wherever it was August found that guy  and is already dead … Oh the humanity!

Or, “Well, one day a Warrior Princess by the name of Xena happened to be passing through where we had our campsite…”

ETA: Went to read up on Xena (because I never actually watched the show) and I see that she died in the end. So switch up “Warrior Princess by the name of Xena” with “Amazon Queen by the name of Gabrielle,” and that’ll work too, (and maybe not be as unique a name as Xena that they could get out of having to pay royalties to use it).

Great, so let’s erase the one queer, and one not dead not evil PoC on the show(at least until Rapunzel gets here and hopefully doesn’t die).

I’m pretty mad at this. It’s not Jamie’s fault obviously but they shouldn’t have put resolving her arc on the long finger.

No they shouldn’t have but at least you can comfort yourself its a pattern–there are so many characters with these sort of open ended “endings”.

At least they didn’t kill her off….

That’s a shame, because I would of liked more backstory on Mulan. We never really got to see her story or kingdom–do you think they would ever consider recasting like they did for Robin? Although, I would miss Jamie.

Jamie was actually a regular though. While they never explored her character much she had far too many appearances and had too big a part. How are they going to do the Philip Wraith thing without her?

Jamie was never a regular. She was only ever a recurring guest star.
