Jane tweets about Dorothy

Thanks to TheGoldenKey for mentioning in a post that Jane Espenson had tweeted about Dorothy, coz I’d totally missed it, so went to check it out, and now I’m all kinds of suspicious. 😛

Wizard Of Oz was on TV here recently, and I had to laugh when I realise that Dorothy’s aunt and uncle were Em and Henry, of all names! Not that I think that our Em and Henry have anything to do with Dorothy’s story, but I’d never made the connection that those two names are actually connected in a famous story, until I watched it recently.

Anyway, thoughts? Was it really just an innocent, random comment? Or had Ms Espenson hit a writing block for a future ep and thought she’d throw it out there like a random comment to see what people said, to get her juices flowing again?

I saw all of those while snooping around yesterday and couldn’t tell what brought it on. I was so confused, searching for something that would have sparked it, but nothing. 😯
It does certainly seem like that is what she was doing! Writer’s block!

For real! 😆 Between that and the theories people have about Cora being the Wicked Witch of the West, I wonder if in the Onceiverse, all the witches in Oz are actually just powerful wielders of magic from other worlds who pop in now and then to terrorise the place.

COULD BE because they are going to release the newest MOVIE MAKE OVER… OZ this coming month…. It is suppose to have the Wizard save the land of OZ not sure if there is a DOROTHY in it.

Its supposed to be a prequel to the Wizard of Oz, about how he came to Oz and became the Wizard which I have always wondered about since he didn’t actually have magic and the witches did..
