In the new promo, we see a scared Jefferson and Regina tightly embracing eachother. Hmm. What is the story behind these two!? I’m so curious. I’m assuming that beyond the sexual tension that totally lingered on into the Hat Trick era, they weren’t romantic. Maybe Jefferson once loved her, but certainly not the other way around. They’re trying to bring back her dead true love, so Id say thats not it.
How do we think they met and what is there relationship? I found they’re comfort in the promo very interesting.
Something clearly happened between this and hat trick. I’m guessing she was not intentionally involved in, but still a part of the situation that killed graces mother.
So what’s up with touchy Hatter and Queen?

Wonder if this will be the ep where they meet? Maybe he’s sorta like the FTL equivalent of an ambulance chasing lawyer, and when he hears about Regina’s problem with the dead true love, he sees the opportunity for a job, and offers his services to help her get the guy who can bring him back to life.

I found their embrace kind of….interesting as well. I am not sure what to make of it. There is definitely…..tension there, lol. 😕

Do you think that perhaps Daniel & Jefferson were brothers? That might explain why Jefferson was so eager to help Regina bring Daniel back. It would also explain an embrace between two people mourning a loved one.

They kinda look horrified to me- I mean ramming an enchanted heart into a dead man during a lightning storm is a pretty …… ‘horrific’ thing to witness I guess 😉
Will be interesting to see what their relationship is- personally I think they are related in some way (be it blood or ‘intended’ marriage to Daniel- ie. Daniel had a brother we haven’t meet).
In one picture where they are side by side, they do look like brother & sister- It’d fit with the scenes between Hatter & Regina talking about never abandoning family, other wise they are pretty much just throw away plot forwarding lines & they seemed to important for that.

I think Jefferson and Regina had a working relationship vs a romantic one. Jefferson was married to someone else, and it’s implied in 1×17 that he lost his wife because of his line of work. The preview for 2×5 suggests Jefferson was still working as a portal-jumper at the time the events take place, since he offers to locate Dr. Frankenstein on Regina’s behalf. So, Jefferson had yet to hang up his hat, and may have still been happily married when the events of 2×5 take place.

Also, Regina is obviously still grief-stricken over losing Daniel, since she seems to have employed Dr. Frankenstein to bring back her lost love. I don’t think she’s simultaneously searching for a way to bring Daniel back to life and seeing Jefferson on the side. Also, there is still that hint that Jefferson and Regina might be related, since she said in 1×17 to Jefferson that you never abandon family.

Interesting thought, but I dunno, just based on the fact that they have drastically different social statuses. Though I guess it’s possible that Jefferson left his poor family behind to be a super star portal jumper who socialises with royalty. Maybe that’s what Regina’s comment about never leaving family behind had to do with?

Two sentences ago I didn’t think this was an option. Don’t ya love how this show twists your brain around? 😆

The image looks like the two of them were caught off guard by FrankenDaniel.

Yeah, it looked like R&J were clinging to each other due to their fear of Frankenstein’s creature.

Those brain twists are better than crosswords or sudoku puzzles for keeping my mind active. 😆
