I don’t think Jefferson and Regina are related, or Jefferson and Daniel. Right now I’m leaning towards Jefferson and Regina being friends.
[adrotate group="5"]Is it just me or was regina and jefferson in pre curse fairytale world when they were clutching eachother? I don’t think regina and jefferson were embracing in post curse time because of the outfits they’re wearing and regina’s hair. Jefferson could be daniel’s brother but i don’t think regina was there when Dr. Whale brings back daniel in post fairytale world because she didnt know about it.

Correct. They’re together watching Daniel’s re-animation in FTL, but whatever happens in SB, Regina doesn’t know about it until after Daniel is re-re-animated.

Lana Parrilla teases the initial meeting between Regina and Jefferson, as well as Regina’s motivations for learning magic:
In truth, she wants to bring back her dearly departed stable boy Daniel (Noah Bean), whose heart was ripped out by Cora in Season 1. Regina will enlist the help of Jefferson (Sebastian Stan), whom we’ll see her meet for the first time this Sunday. “He says he can help her bring the stable boy back,” Parrilla says. “You’ll see them teaming up to try to make this happen.” (And based on this promo, it looks like another familiar face will help too!)
Parrilla also teases that we may learn the reason why Regina hates Jefferson so much. “There was something that Sebastian and I talked about: Jefferson must’ve done something to her for her to punish him and leave him in Wonderland,” she says. “What the hell did he do? I think you’ll see a little bit this Sunday.” She cautions that plans could change down the road, but “as of now, he’s involved in something and it’s quite sneaky.”

Can’t wait to see more of their history, glad to see that they’re planning to develop it soon. Guess this puts an end to any speculation about them being related if the Daniel incident is how they met.

I’m guessing Regina and Jefferson met in Rumpel’s laboratory, based on the promotional pics. Regina has probably become Rumpel’s apprentice since we last saw her in 2×2. I think she’s there when Jefferson comes calling at Rumpel’s to acquire the magical orb also seen in the promotional pictures. First, Rumpel is holding the said orb and then hands it to Jefferson, who probably makes a deal for it.
