The spoiler says we’ll meet Ariel in a surprising way. I wonder how. Maybe she’ll save the JR6 group if the vindictive mermaids try to drown the human victims. Although, that may not be as surprising since Ariel is known for rescuing Eric.
Can we talk about which character Ariel has a connection with? I predict it’s going to be Regina, who has been pegged as Ursula by many, many fans. “You never really know who is Ursula” pretty much means it’s going to be a mash-up with an already established character vs a new casting.

I think Regina will be Ursula. The stories of shows I seen with the Mermaids is that they have legs but have to return to the water at a certain time kind of like that Mermaid story was it Tom Hanks in it but he falls in love with a Mermaid and she uses his bathtub for her tail.
As for the connection I stated before either Bae, or August is the connection.

I was sold on Regina being Ursula when I recently noticed that the ep where Regina mentions dealing with a mermaid is the same ep where she has the streak of differently coloured hair going up the side of her head. That’s an Ursula thing.
