John Rhys-Davies Joins Once for Season 4

He’s got a lot of geek cred. He was in the Lord of the Ring movies, Sliders in the 90’s, Indiana Jones movies…

John Rhys-Davies credits include Sallah in the Indiana Jones films, Gimli and Treebeard in the Lord of the Rings films, and Aladdin’s father Kassim in Aladdin and the King of Thieves. And for anybody who watched the animated series Gargoyles, he voiced Macbeth too.

Keep in mind, he’s probably just doing the voice for one episode. And the troll does play a rather important part in the story.

I wonder if the trolls will be CGI. Because I don’t think they NEED to be. The trolls they have already shown us look similar -ish to the ones in frozen. I could believe they turn into rocks.

What leads me to believe the troll will be CGI is that Adam specifically said John was “the voice” of the troll.
