BUT what i find interesting is that both Aurora and Snow were under sleeping curses. So was David. And Phillip’s soul was obviously in some sort of Netherworld. Could be linked to this… possibly.
The baby daddies don’t correlate exactly, but it IS interesting that both mothers have been under a sleeping curse.
Women who have been under sleeping curses, could they maybe have some unique type of dream experience, caused by the baby, (maybe unborn babies who are inside people who have access to a unique plane of consciousness, have their own unique plane of consciousness, that allows them to connect with their mother’s dreams), and that’s how they discover they’re pregnant? Snow would have been through it before with Emma, so she’d know what’s up if it happens again, and maybe the first time it happens, she and Aurora have some shared, baby induced, dream experience? So Snow wakes up and is all “OMG I’m pregnant!” and then Aurora comes rushing in all, “OMG you’re pregnant too!” there is precedent for them bonding over shared dreamworld experiences, so something like that wouldn’t be out of the blue, and would explain the word “connection” being used in the article.
[adrotate group="5"]January 13, 2014 at 11:13 am #236768kfchimeraParticipantConsidering David and Snow’s personal experiences with forced betrothals, it wouldn’t quite make sense for them to arrange a marriage as they believe in true love. David had quite the conversation with his mother about it all, then the mess with Abigail. Of course, given the writing for the Charmings lately, I’d totally believe the writers WOULD do something like that just to generate some conflict between David and Snow. David not telling Snow he’s dying because he doesn’t want to worry her, or Snow not telling David she’s feeling so guilty she’s suicidal she’s just going to go beg Regina to rip her heart out for example. So I suppose I could see Snow pledging her baby to Aurora’s baby as the two are bonding, then David being upset she did it without talking to him and for what she did.
It is an element of “Sleeping Beauty” in the Disney version of the tale that Phillip and Aurora’s parents are friends and they are betrothed at her birth by the fathers. So that could be a similar sort of thing, except its the moms and the dads have no idea.
I still hope it is David rescuing both though, because I like the image of David climbing the tower to rescue two babies though–how do you top 1 handed sword fighting with baby in other arm as in the pilot?TWO babies, in baby slings, as he climbs down the tower, fighting off enemies. We need another great Charming the dashing prince moment …..maybe he can be plowing through Trolls or something, with help from Rapunzel of course.

January 13, 2014 at 11:16 am #236769HappyEndingsSpectatorThe March 9 episode will also incorporate the fact that real-life couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (Snow and Charming) are expecting a child. The baby will have a connection to the impending progeny of Sleeping Beauty (Sarah Bolger) and Prince Phillip (Julian Morris), though producers promise there won’t be a soap opera-like baby switch.
So does this mean that witch is related to Mal? Good grief so Aurora baby going to related to Snow’s now. 🙁
The Wicked Witch of the West (Lost’s Rebecca Mader) lands in Storybrooke on the March 9 episode. She shares ties to two familiar characters. Viewers will learn what turned her green and will eventually meet the Wizard. “There might be some other surprises along the yellow brick road,” Kitsis says. “We’re setting up the fight of all fights: Evil Queen versus Wicked Witch!”
This is Robin Hood and his boy Roland. Did you see he just says Wicked Witch not WWW.
January 13, 2014 at 11:41 am #236771VanessaParticipantSo glad they aren’t doing a baby switch story line! That’s why I quit watching daytime tv. Perhaps the babies will be kidnapped because they are products of true love and are magical. Maybe the Wicked Witch or whatever villain wants to raise the kids to be evil or use their magic for evil. Think of Star Wars and the Emperor turning Anakin evil. Maybe Regina will be more of mentor to Emma – kind of like Obi-wan to Luke Skywalker. Lol! Sorry about the Star Wars stuff!
Didn’t Ariel and Eric get married on a ship? Although very unlikely, a Hook and Emma would be fun. They could get married on a pirate ship.
January 13, 2014 at 12:02 pm #236772kfchimeraParticipantVanessa, you’re name reminds me that it could be the Vanessa storyline of Little Mermaid. Maybe there’s a fake wedding that’s going to be happening (Wicked and someone?) and the heroes have to stop it!
It could parallel how Regina tries to ruin the Snowing Wedding (well it’s her gift to them to have that happy day, while she makes her big threat). So it could be opposite with Snowing maybe showing up to try to stop the fake wedding that could ruin everything for Regina’s happiness.

January 13, 2014 at 12:04 pm #236773angiebelleParticipantThis interview didn’t reveal a whole lot that we didn’t already know, but it still has me intrigued. It confirmed things we already suspected, such as incorporating Ginnifer’s real life pregnancy and that Belle will be meeting Lumiere- yay!
The babies are going to be connected somehow? Eep! Curious!
This will be the 3rd known version of what made the Witched Witch of the West green…in Oz the Great and Powerful, it was an apple. In Wicked, it was an elixir that her mother drank. I wonder what the story is this time.
Still against the Wicked Sisters theory, sorry. I think that would be too much ret-conning…too soap opera to suddenly give Regina this sister we’ve had no reason to believe existed in the past. However, love the idea of pitting them against each other, as was already said- it’s a perfect way to see Regina go all evil without backpedaling her previous character progression. We get to be on her side!
Despite “splashy” I’m not convinced the wedding is between Ariel and Eric. While I’d love to see them again, they are relatively minor characters and haven’t currently been filming as far as we know. It’d be strange to bring them back just for that. I’m also not sure they’d tease a big wedding if it were just for them, but who knows?
I’m not sure of the chances of it, but I can’t help but hope for a RumBelle wedding considering we all know he isn’t really gone for good, and he all but proposed to her in “The New Neverland.” Of the 3 couples Keck teased, that is the only one that would make sense to wed at this point in the game. Captain Swan isn’t a fully established relationship yet, and Regina and Robin still haven’t even met. Of course, we do have 11 episodes to get there, so I guess anything is possible. But would they dare marry off RumBelle? That’s a big step.
January 13, 2014 at 12:25 pm #236774lisasParticipantJust read the spoilers bear in mind Keck does get some of his information right and some of it wrong but that being said
Let’s break them down ( My Speculation is in Bold)Get ready for some big reveals when ABC’s Once Upon a Time returns on March 9. Executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz preview what’s brewing in Fairy Tale Land, Storybrooke and Oz.
– The Wicked Witch of the West (Lost’s Rebecca Mader) lands in Storybrooke on the March 9 episode. She shares ties to two familiar characters. Viewers will learn what turned her green and will eventually meet the Wizard. “There might be some other surprises along the yellow brick road,” Kitsis says. “We’re setting up the fight of all fights: Evil Queen versus Wicked Witch!”
We knew already that we would see the WWW from OZ on Once Upon A Time so that is old info. But I suspect we will see how got to the EF in 312 and possibly recreate SB in order to curse everyone again just to get to Regina
– The March 9 episode will also incorporate the fact that real-life couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (Snow and Charming) are expecting a child. The baby will have a connection to the impending progeny of Sleeping Beauty (Sarah Bolger) and Prince Phillip (Julian Morris), though producers promise there won’t be a soap opera-like baby switch.
Again this is not news because we’ve known since before Thanksgiving because of the set pictures that both Prince Philip & Aurora were on set filming with the majority of those cast members sent back to the EF, and we figured they would incorporate Ginny’s pregnancy into the story so I’m not too surprised by this however I’m surprised they would tie both babies together somehow like a betrothal promise especially given what we know about Snow & Charming
– Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will encounter a mysterious stranger in New York City (Covert Affairs’ Christopher Gorham)
We know in Chris Gorham is in 312 but I don’t think he is as importantto Emma as they are making him out to be is he Ryder Flynn maybe but we also know he will be connected to Rapunzel so if that is the case then how did he get to our world. Who sent him ?
Charming will come to the rescue of Rapunzel (Alexandra Metz) atop a tower
We know this happens in 314 now whether or not it’s FTL pre-curse or post curse 1 year after they have returned from SB is unknown
and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) will meet her French candlestick pal, Lumiere (True Blood’s Henri Lubatti).
We know know they currently shooting this episode which is 315
– Now that Meghan Ory has wrapped the first season of CBS’s Intelligence, she may be back as Little Red this spring.
Not news considering Meghan tweeted she would be back as Red this season
– Expect a splashy season-finale wedding. Will the bride and groom be Belle and Rumple? Emma and Hook? Regina and Robin Hood?
A season finale wedding is possible Belle & Rumple would be my first guess considering they’re road has been hardest and longest so far 3 season’s in the making
Regina & Robin Hood is ssomething I doubt seriously since their love story is only just beginning
Emma & Hook that is very doubtful since the the triangle between Emma/Neal/Hook hasn’t even really had time to get going since Neverland.
My other guess is that it’s not any of these 3 ships excuse me couples and that it could be Ariel & Prince Eric who Keck is making reference to.
January 13, 2014 at 12:32 pm #236775RumplesGirlKeymasterSo glad they aren’t doing a baby switch story line!
you and me both. That wold be horrible.

That’s true but it seems hard to imagine another couple. Rumbelle is the most obvious but Adam did once say that Rumbelle wouldn’t be married until the end. Though he could have been playing the troll card.

Here is my problem with the betrothal idea. It flies in the face of this show’s message of true love. Would Snowing and Philora, two couple who are canon TL as seem with TLK, actually marry their children together without giving them a choice???

Not a chance IMO. Charming’s mother tried to set him up to marry someone, and he refused because you’re meant to marry for love. He and Abigail were set up by their fathers, and as a result, he almost didn’t end up with Snow. In SB, Regina set up David with Kathryn, which again came between Snowing’s TL. And Snow is well aware now (even if she wasn’t before) of how unhappy Regina’s arranged marriage to Leopold made her, (it led her to kill the guy). So I cannot see either Snow or Charming arranging a marriage for their child. It would take away their child’s free will to find their TL, and finding your TL is what Snowing are all about.

Exactly. An arranged marriage just isn’t something Snowing would allow for their child.
I think the connection is going to be Snow and Aurora talking about being parents, both in a way for the first time. Snow never got to raise Emma and so this is really her first go around as a mom from the start. And this is Aurora’s first baby. Since we know Philora haven’t been on set since 312, I’m going to say this connection is a minor one time talk.
