Keck just denied that the wedding is for Ariel and Eric!
Adam also just tweeted that Keck doesn’t actually know.
*HEADDESK*
As for Frozen: that’s be interesting, but I have to see the movie. Guess I have a year?
Thought I was the only one who hadn’t seen it. 😆
We’ve been talking about this in chat so I’m going to throw it out there.
Is it possible this wedding is a hoax?
Cause think about it: why would they spoil the SEASON FINALE when all the other spoilers are from the episodes they’ve written/shot already. Nothing about what is beyond 315, which they are currently working on.
Why would you spoil the finale in January? When it isn’t even written?
Saying there’s gonna be a wedding when there isn’t even gonna be one would be a bit of a douche move. I will however laugh if the wedding scene ends up being someone’s dream sequence. 😛
I haven’t read though this entire thread, but the fact that Keck referred to Snow’s baby as “baby” and Aurora’s baby as “progeny” struck me as odd. So, I double checked, and sure enough, “progeny” can refer to one or multiple offspring. Aurora could be having twins.
She could well be. Doubt we’ll ever get to meet them because she’s not major enough of a character, but she could mention it if she’s having twins.
Which brings me back to my crack theory that the “connection” is sleeping curse victim baby brain causing shared dreams between Aurora and Snow which acts as her FTL pregnancy test. If Aurora’s been having a unique brand of dream where she’s able to connect on some subconscious level to her unborn child, she’d know if it was twins.

And I am a Disney fan too, so even though I’m a fan of fantasy/fairytale/folklore in general–can’t fault it too much for being the way it is. There’s a certain “tourist” value in seeing familiar characters/touchstones like “oh hey, that’s Pongo” or “look did you catch in the background, that was……” if anything, they don’t do it enough. It’s the familiar story being twisted that makes a lot of OUAT work, and for that it needs to be a familiar story first. Millers’ daughter/Rumple is one they didn’t tell until we’d already lived with the characters awhile, and even then, they’d taken “Queen of Hearts” and mashed her into it. So even when they CAN go out of Disney (OOD?) it’s like they aren’t going to go too far–doubt we’ll ever see much of Abigail/Frederick or Midas again.

Yeah I recognize it’s a catch-22 of sorts. They could bring in lesser known legends but they wouldn’t have the same punch as say a Disney princess.

Frankenwolf. I know we haven’t even seen them in a relationship, but we do know that the writers have a Frankenwolf pic stuck on their wall and this article hinted at Red coming back, and David Anders tweeted a little while back about having some news he couldn’t talk about that would make some people very happy, and people speculated if he was talking about Frankenwolf, (could have also been something completely unrelated, I’m just thinking that if they were scheduling Meghan to appear, those discussions might have happened a little while ago). Anyway, they could play it like they’ve been involved off screen for a while, and get Red back into the mix a bit for a few eps at the end of the season so her wedding wouldn’t be really random, (and Victor would be around too, so again with the scheduling a fair bit ahead of time if David would have to be in Vancouver for longer than he usually is), and it could be a bit of a, “Sorry we basically wrote Red out of the show but will you forgive us if we show her getting her happy ending,” kinda thing. Then if Meghan’s show ends up taking off, and she does get too busy to come back again in the future, at least they’ve given her character a proper sendoff.January 13, 2014 at 11:12 pm #236880RumplesGirlKeymaster*tossing new wedding candidates into the ring that just randomly popped into my head*

And splashy because they had their first real moment by the waters edge when she saved him.

Granny’s at Pan’s death, at the town line to say goodbye, but where’s Red? No CGI in the budget for a little wolf?
They could even, sniff, say that she and Victor CHOOSE to go back to his world, but leave it open that they aren’t cut off forever or anything, but it just would help explain why she’s not onscreen in a way that makes sense.

January 13, 2014 at 11:44 pm #236883CindersParticipantI’m torn as to who I would expect to see in a wedding finale. I know everyone wants to see a sweet loving wedding with a happily ever after….but does a Once season finale ever end with happily ever after? A season finale wedding is doomed from the start.
However, Red, returning to Storybrooke for a wedding would certainly be surprising and delightful. Maybe as a bride, possibly a guest. I’m looking forward to seeing her story. Where she’s been, where she’s going.

I’m torn about there even being a wedding. lol.

There have been theories for ages that Victor IS the Wizard, which I dunno about, because I remember an interview, (might have been Jane Espenson?), where it was mentioned that the Wizard anvils were in his ep as deliberate misdirection, (which got negated by the stupid promo department making the Frankenstein thing obvious), but working him into a storyline involving the Wizard who was a non-magical guy who had his own sort of science could be doable. That could draw him and (by extension if they’re a couple) Red back into the main story arc, and once the good guys win, the Frankenwolf wedding is their big victory celebration.
January 14, 2014 at 12:34 am #236890JabberwockyParticipantIt sucks that the wedding got leaked. Personally, I think that should have been kept a secret, but at least we don’t know who it’s for.
