I agree that would have been a nice surprised.
But I got to thinking since Emma started out giving Birth to Henry kind of like the Pilot was with Snow. I wonder if they will Book End it so to speak with Emma’s wedding like Snow had to do parallel stories. 🙂
I also think Snow will have her baby in FTL, before the curse to counter the previous story where she had to send Emma to protect her now the whole family will be cursed together like when Emma made that comment when the curse was broken. 🙂
Am I only one who would want them to go original? I love Disney and all but it’s starting to feel like Once Upon a Disney. There are fairy tales and legends from all over the world without having to pull out what is newest and shiniest at the moment. It’s not surprising that ONCE is doing Oz with other big networks set to begin production on Oz dramas.
I think the problem with using Disney’s Frozen in OUaT is because it’s both pretty much an original piece of fiction with only a loose relation to The Snow Queen and because it’s so NEW. The thing with other using some of the other Disney properties that varied so far from their source material is that most of those have been out for a long time. The Little Mermaid for example is very different from the original (though still much closer than Frozen and The Snow Queen), but most people these days seem to accept that at face value as the actual story because a lot of us grew up with it. Frozen is TOO NEW. While the movie was a hit in theatres over the holidays that still doesn’t mean that everyone who watches OUaT will know who those characters are, or have the same attachment to them as a multiple generations of children and adults have to Ariel. Give Frozen at least a few years, get it playing repetitively on basic cable channels on weekends for while, and then maybe I can start to see it.
I don’t know. I liked the movie, but I just feels like such a massive departure to me if they were to try and shovel Elsa and Anna into the show. I think it’s always worked best when they’ve stuck to the classic tales and characters, but I’m okay if I’m the only one who thinks so.

Which is why I wonder if Keck isn’t….wildly speculating. He didn’t really give us anything new-new. Just stuff we mostly knew from 312-315. Why not spoil something from 316 instead? That one is probably mostly written whereas 322 isn’t written at all. So why spoil something from the season finale….? Idk. Something seems fishy.

Because everyone loves a TV wedding and they wanna keep people watching through the rest of the season. So they start pimping it now, get people speculating, give it an official media mention in a couple of articles between now and season’s end and it keeps viewers on the hook the whole way through.

Yep, would bookend the whole show nicely. And again, it’d also be sensible from a marketing standpoint if they do it at the very end of the show. If they have her marry her TL with a season or more left, members of the ships who lost out wouldn’t want to watch that marriage play out, (fans who ship Emma with any given person tend to be rather devoted to their OTP) and they could risk losing viewers. Better business move to have her get married in the last episode ever.
Now that Meghan Ory has wrapped the first season of CBS’s Intelligence, she may be back as Little Red this spring.
For what it’s worth, for those interested, Meghan’s new show Intelligence pretty much bombed in its second episode (1.1, 6.10 million, a 56% drop from pilot) so it could be that A and E can ask her back for more than one episode.
