I bet if Neal left Neverland that way, whether it was stealing the dust or Tinkerbelle or her helping him.
I’m thinking that perhaps Tink put on some sort of act where she was “helping Bae escape” so he thought that’s what was happening…but it was actually a setup as ordered by PP…because he knew that Bae would father the child he needed, so he had to let him go at exactly the right place and time to coincide with Emma in our world. PP wouldn’t want Bae cluing in that he was a vital piece in some overall, magical scheme, so Bae had to think that he was “escaping” as opposed to being let go.

The “how” is a good question. A while back, like right after the season ended, we talked a little about how pixie dust would come into play and I suggested something like: pixie dust is the only thing that will let you set foot on NL without becoming trapped. It could also help you escape. It would be a good way to tie in the pixie dust concept without having to make everyone fly, which would be insane.

What if he is trapped by Tink, because she fell in (unrequited) love with him? I could see both of them being a little bad, and everyone caught in the middle in the struggle of Peter to end the “blessing” on Neverland that Tink cast to keep him with her forever. So our heroes think Tink is “on their side” when they get to NL and meet her, but she really isn’t.

July 9, 2013 at 1:26 pm #199908RumplesGirlKeymasterThat would fit with how Tink is normally presented as being jealous of PP’s attentions to Wendy and her eventual betrayal of PP to Hook.

Fairies aren’t supposed to fall in love. If Tink did, I’ll bet that rubs Blue up the wrong way.

Maybe that’s why Blue was so harsh on Nova? She knew from previous experience with Tink and PP that no good can come from a fairy falling in love.

That would be a really cool twist and would fit well with what we know about the cartoon version Tinker Bell, who is quite capricious. Plus, according to Barrie, fairies are consumed by one large emotion at a time due to their small stature, and so Tink was often green with envy whenever PP would flirt with Wendy and I bet the mermaids and Tiger Lilly. So, I could see Tink somehow trying to control PP with evil pixie dust. Plus, thanks to RG who posted this TV Line spoiler:
I’ll answer that question by describing to you the new character of Violet and letting you draw your own conclusions. How about that? Vi is a mischievous twentysomething whose penchant for troublemaking belies the heart of a true survivor. (Interesting side note, especially for Hook if she is Tinkerbell: She never lets a slight go unpunished!)

July 10, 2013 at 9:30 am #200019RumplesGirlKeymasterAnyone else wonder if Hook and PP have some sort of arrangement? It seems odd to me that PP would tolerate a band of pirates sitting out in the sea, just off shore of his magical island where he keeps kidnapped boys. Maybe after Bae is taken to the island, Hook tries to rescue him but is stopped by Tink and the Lost Ones. But in the ensuing battle, Hook somehow injures or slights Tink and now he has in enemy in her.

I’m imagining him being presented with the option of leaving to get the Crocodile, or staying to fight for Bae, and then me wanting to cry when he chooses the former, even though I already knew it’s what he was gonna do.
They like to have their broken characters backslide while trying to redeem themselves, case in point: Regina. So I can see them putting Hook in a position where he attempts to do right by going to look for Bae, but then he’s presented with a choice, and makes the wrong one.
If PP did kick him out of NL, it’s coming back to bite him now, because Hook’s coming back with the cavalry to save Henry. Sort of similar to how Cora’s the one who set up the candle’s powers, and in the end, she was the one who fell victim to it. Karma sucks, yo.
July 10, 2013 at 9:53 am #200021RumplesGirlKeymasterWhat if, in order to get Hook out of NL and stop being a plague to PP, PP had Tink offer Hook information on Rumple, specifically: Belle. Tink, who has been traveling back and forth between worlds, learned of Rumple’s TL with Belle and told PP. We still don’t know how Hook learned of Belle and that Regina was holding her captive. PP could have offered to tell Hook vital information about getting revenge on Rumple in exchange for getting Hook out of NL.
