I thought that too but I’m hoping that they actually won’t merge the two Queens together, they are so different!
And as much as Cora and Snow White’s mom being sisters and the two Queens of Wonderland is so far my favorite idea, I’d hate to see OUAT copy Tim Burton’s Alice. The two are awesome in their own individual ways and merging them is a bad idea![adrotate group="5"]@obisgirl wrote:

If Snow’s mother is Cora’s sister, that would make Snow and Regina cousins, not half-sisters.
I have another theory. I wont’ go into too much detail, but there may be a good reason why a certain character may not be compatible with a certain character if it turns out there was something going on between Snow’s mom and _____.

I was thinking that last night after going to bed but I was too lazy to drag myself from bed and make the correction 😆 😆 😆
Cora and Snows mother sisters 😀 yes! love it. It ties it with the fairytale Snow white and Rose red, gives Cora a possibility of motiv to hate and want revenge on her sister- maybe she kills her.. She wanted what her sister had, the prince, the power, the good life.
Snows mothers name is Eva- maybe Eve, the original bible version Eve who took a bite from the original bible apple and fell from grace, paradice- either she died or she lives in Wonderland as the White Queen as Phee pointed out.
Has there been a spoiler on who is going to play Eva ?

that would be an interesting twist and very fitting, since Cora is the Red Queen.
YES! I’m so happy we’re finally going to meet Snow’s mother. But I’m curious as to why this particular story has been split in two. I’m not complaining or anything, I guess there must be a really big twist in this particular tale for it to be split in two parts.
Oh, and I also really like the theory that maybe Cora and Eva were sisters and that’s the big connection between the two families. That would be an interesting twist. I wouldn’t put it past Cora to murder her own sister.

Guess they could have Cora kill the Red Queen when she arrives in Wonderland, and then assume her throne. I just think that for the purposes of the show, which is a visual medium, it just muddies the waters if there are two queens running around Wonderland dressed in red at the same time. Similar to how it’s unnecessary for them to have a separate Snow White and Rose Red, because our Snow and Red are essentially sisters, so having the other two as well would just confuse matters. Mashing characters up to condense stories works in this particular medium.
okay, so I told my boyfriend that sister theory and he put two and two better than I did. if Cora and Snow’s mom are sisters, and Cora later arranged for Regina to marry Leopold (Snow’s dad), Cora’s forcing her to marry her uncle. 😆 😆 Totally didn’t think of that way when I thought about it — so um, scratch that theory for now. 😆
