I’m thinking the death of Snow’s mother brought about a great change in young Snow Flake. Maybe her mom was very sweet and kind and gentle and tried to make Snow like her, but Princess Snow was a spoiled brat (her father seems like he would have spoiled her) but when Eva dies, Snow changes to be more like her mother.

Sounds good to me. Maybe seeing her father’s grief over losing her mother will inspire Snow to change her ways and be good like Eva always wanted her to be.

Oh, I like that! It would tie in really nicely with the execution scene of the Evil Queen.
If she really was so spoiled and her mother’s death would’ve affected her so strongly, Snow could see in Regina a bit of who she was before her mother died and understand her better than the others, especially that she saw the nice Regina before too.

Cora and Eva could also have just been good friends at some point and not actual sisters (as to not mess up the family tree more then it already is).

Or they could always do the whole separated at birth thing again, and Cora ends up being a miller’s daughter and is resentful of Eva when she finds out.

Or they could do a spin-off of the Goose Girl and maybe at one point Cora was a servant working for Eva’s family.

Either way I love the idea that Eva and Cora had a prior relationship that ended badly, and that’s why Cora eventually killed Eva.
