The reason PP said Rumble could say isn’t the one that is suppose to say who can stay and who can go?

Well we don’t know exactly how NL works yet but it seems to me that PP probably has complete control over who stays. He “let” Bae go when it was the right time. He “let” Hook leave because he needed Hook in FTL to be protected, to meet Emma, to get her here, ect. And if PP is Rumple’s brother he let Rumple go back home to FTL when Rumple was a boy to grow up, probably at Rumple’s request. But in the scene Felix says that PP will let Rumple stay, UNLESS Rumple has come for Henry. Which means that on some level PP is actually OK with Rumple. Unless Rumple interfers with PP’s plans.

From Once Upon A Fan
Scene starts out in the forest. Rumple comes out from behind a tree, still looking like Gold but dressed in Rumple’s standard outfit Pan and Rumple have history. In the scene, Rumple acknowledges that he will die if he confronts Peter Pan. Strongly hints that Rumple was a Lost Boy!
How on Earth did I miss this spoiler?! AHHHHH! Mr. Gold in Rumple clothes! I might just faint from Robert Carlyle’s amazingness. Yowza!!

ETA: Here is a more detailed summary from Once Upon a Fan UK of the Rumple scene in NL:
The scene opens in the forests of Neverland. Mr. Gold comes out from behind a tree wearing Rumple’s classic outfit. He calls out to someone to reveal themselves; it’s the blonde Lost Boy from the season two finale (who carries the name Felix). Felix tells Rumple that Pan will allow him to remain in Neverland as long as he likes, but if he has come for “the boy” then Rumple and Pan shall remain enemies, to which Rumple replies, “So then nothing has changed” between clenched teeth.
The two of them discuss a possible confrontation between Rumple and Pan, wherein Rumple acknowledges that he would die if it should happen. He then says that death isn’t the real issue; the real issue is how many Lost Boys he (Rumple) takes with him. Rumple says this as he grabs Felix and pulls him right up to his own face, it’s very heated and tense.
The two of them separate and (I think) Felix tells Rumple that Pan has a message for him. Felix throws a rather voodoo-looking doll down, it is white with a blue jacket that has white trim. Felix says “Isn’t it amazing how the things we haven’t thought about in years…can make us cry?” Rumple falls to his knees and breaks down crying as this occurs. STRONG implications that Rumple was a lost boy. It ended there.

August 10, 2013 at 9:30 pm #204218HappyEndingsSpectatorANAHEIM — Once Upon a Time fans at D23 Expo were treated to a never-before-seen clip from the season three premiere Saturday.
T
he upcoming season finds the ABC drama’s heroes and villains traveling from Storybrooke to Neverland to retrieve Henry (Jared S. Gilmore). The clip featured Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) given an ominous warning from one of Peter Pan’s lost boys, showing viewers that this is not going to be same Pan from children’s bedtime stories.
“When Rumplestiltskin lets us know he is someone to be frightened of, I am frightened,” co-creator Edward Kitsis told D23 attendees during the panel. “Neverland is the heart of darkness, but they’re going into it to save Henry.”
Added co-creator Adam Horowitz: “We’re putting our own spin on it. It’s a little different than what’s been seen before.”
Season three will be split into two batches of 11 episodes, with the first half focusing primarily on Neverland. Of the season three overarching theme, Horowitz said that while season one was about the characters not knowing their real identity and season two was about them remembering, season three will be about them getting “back to their true selves. What better place then Neverland, where everything is stripped away, for them to confront who they are?”
Meanwhile, the creators also teased romantic sparks between Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and insight, via flashbacks, into how Hook became a pirate.
Belle (Emilie de Ravin) also will return, and the show will introduce Ariel. The creators added that Ursula also is likely to appear — “but you never know because on the show you never know who is the real Ursula,” said Kitsis — and there is also “a good chance of seeing a guy named Eric,” added Horowitz, referring to Ariel’s prince beau.
Horowitz and Kitsis also revealed that on their wish list of characters to incorporate into the show is Rapunzel.
“The key is when and how to honor the character and bring something new,” Horowitz said.
Meanwhile, D23 attendees also got a look at the 19-minute pilot presentation for Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, the OUAT spinoff that debuts in October. (It’s the same one that was screened at Comic-Con in July.)
Wonderland follows a young Alice (Sophie Lowe) in Victorian London who tells of a strange new land that exists on the other side of a rabbit hole. Like OUAT, Wonderland will feature flashbacks that give more insight into the characters. Unlike OUAT, the first season will feature a complete story arc.
“It will be much like a movie, or like how they went on one mission in Star Trek, and another year it was another mission,” Kitsis said.
s for their decision to create an entirely new character — Alice’s love interest, the genie Cyrus (Peter Gadiot) — the creators likened it to OUAT’s Emma, who also was an entirely new creation.
“Alice was curious enough to follow a rabbit into a hole,” Kitsis said. “Naturally she would fall in love with a genie — he’s seen many lives, worlds and places. People ruin their lives for wishes. So they’re kindred spirits.”
While Wonderland is meant to stand on its own — meaning people new to OUAT need not have seen that show — OUAT fans will be treated to “crumbs sprinkled” throughout the series, teased Horowitz.

August 10, 2013 at 9:45 pm #204221RumplesGirlKeymasterNo worries. We could use a refresher. But we did post them live as the expo was happening, like pgs6-10. So it has been awhile since we’ve talked about anything except Rumple as a lost one.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 10, 2013 at 10:42 pm #204227SlurpeezParticipantI’ve only just caught up on all the comments surrounding the new spoilers. Today is like Christmas!
WHAT!? WHAT?! HE MADE MY RUMPLE CRY? HE MUST DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE! *ok I’m good now* Oh, Pan is SO Rumple’s brother.
Anyone who makes the Dark One weep openly must be pretty horrible. PP has a lot of explaining to do! It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if PP and Rumple are related. It would also explain why Rumple was such a coward for having such a horrible brother. Hmmmmm.
As for Eric making an appearance in NL, I have so many questions about him possibly being Killian Jones. Although, if HookedQueen isn’t going to happen, then I don’t find Hookriel as troublesome as much as I once did. Could Killian’s middle name be Eric? Hmmm…..
* Deep in thought *

And I wonder if Rumple could’ve been a lost boy? The Seer said he was raised by spinsters. And glad Belle is always on his mind 🙂
Also excited to see Hook’s back-story.
The summary of that scene has me so psyched for season 3! Next month! Think there’s any chance it will be put online by someone?
And again – GOLD IN RUMPLE’S CLOTHES!
