KeymasterWell that certainly is dark, Phee. Stab the 11 yr old boy with two daggers?
But let’s say your theory is right, does that mean that once Henry is stabbed with both that all dark powers are wiped out? Because that feels very end game, end of series to me.
The way A and E talk about PP being complex, I agree that his need for Henry is more “the greater good” than “evil for the sake of evil.”

ParticipantNot all dark powers, just the Dark One Curse and the Pan Curse. Still gotta have dark magic in the worlds to balance out the light magic.
And yes, it would be rather a dark scene for them to show. Unless perhaps Henry’s heart, like his mother’s, is immune? So it’ll be similar to when Cora tried to take Emma’s heart. The daggers go in but it doesn’t damage him, his magic just vaporises the magic that was in the blades.

SpectatorInterview with Jan Espenson with a lot of information This is part of the old inverview
■There’s something more to Emma than being the child of true love (maybe about being the saviour), in the sense that not all “true love babies” are capable of powerful magic.
■Tamara seems to be a normal person, not a FTL counterpart. But she might be a problem in terms of a normal person finding out about magic (but Jane said she could totally be lying).
■We’ll learn more about the history of the curse (how it changed hands).
■Apparently the reason there haven’t been more Rumbelle scenes is that because “for a great part of the season” they have been happy at Gold’s home, so there was no story to tell (Jane, dear, she left Gold’s home on the 4th episode).
■Apparently Rumbelle has been heading into an interesting story that might or might not please some fans, depending on what they think Rumbelle’s happiness is.
■We could meet previous Dark Ones.
■“Fiancées are like walls. They can be moved.” Tamara, look out.
■Is the Blue Fairy good? Jane says she’s always been shown to be good.
■Jane feels there’s a lot of Spike (from Buffy) in Hook (oh, please, no) in terms of “bad boy attitude”.August 15, 2013 at 1:03 pm #205058RumplesGirl

This is a cool idea! If Henry’s heart is the one PP needs to save NL and then discovers that he can’t hurt/remove/damage Henry’s heart, imagine the kind of rage and revenge that will cause!

Note: Henry, didn’t come from an Magic Enchanted Tree like Emma did so why would he have magic?

Emma’s magic has nothing to do with the tree, it’s because she’s the product of true love, which is the most powerful magic of all. Rumple’s vial of “true love potion” that he made from Snow and Charming’s hairs is basically a vial of Emma’s DNA. When something is in someone’s DNA, it can be genetically inherited from parent to child.

SpectatorPlus Emma was conceived in FL and born in FL, not in the the real world so I doubt if Henry would have any magic besides he hates it.
Other wise Cinderella baby would have magic too.

KeymasterBut that’s what Jane is saying. Not all babies born of True Love are magical. Ella’s baby was also born of TL, but she’s not magical. Emma is; not only is she born of true love but there is something else that makes her as powerful as she is. I don’t think being born in a location has anything to do with the abilities. It’s genetic. I have brown hair not because I was born in Ohio but because my parents passed on those genes to me. Take another example, an Egyptian born in America would still look Egyptian. Genetics! So Henry is the child of two people from FTL, one of whom is literally true love incarnate. I would be very surprised he doesn’t have some magical ability. And, Henry doesn’t hate magic, not really. He became weary of seeing those he loves use it for ill instead of good. Deep down he’s still the boy we met in Season One who was enchanted by fairy tales and magic.

ParticipantYes, logically all we know is that Emma is special because she is the Savior, not the rules for people born of true love or even if magic is hereditary. Charming is told by his mother she had true love and neither twin showed magic. So you cannot even explain away Ella by saying her baby was was born in pre-magic SB. Nor can you draw any conclusion about Henry.
Neither Snow nor Charming are shown as magical, except for the animal thing Snow has. So we cannot say whether Henry is.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

ParticipantSomeone should ask Adam on twitter ‘what makes Emma more powerful than say Ella & Thomas’ baby?’ if it hasn’t been asked before.
