Rules;
* Forum rules apply
* you can do any pairing you want. This includes straight, gay, lesbian.
* Name the couple and location (FTL or SB) before the fic begins (as seen below)
* you can re-do your cannon OTP’s meeting, put characters into different relationships, add new characters and pair them with old characters, and even introduce two unseen fairy tale characters to the show. Basically, anything goes as long as it takes place in either a FTL or Storybrooke setting.Here, I’ll start;
My pairing – Elsa x Merida
Location – FTLElsa’s breath was visible in the cold air as she stood panting in her gleaming crystal tower, exhausted by the extraordinary display of power she had just exhibited, and by the powerful emotions which were once concealed inside of her, never seen until just a few minutes before. After using her ice powers to build herself a new, formidable home, she had begun a rant about her parents, who had kept her locked away for the duration of her entire adolescent life. Like some terrible secret, she was hidden in case her people saw her for what her parents believed her to be; a danger to herself and everyone around her. However, her parents weren’t around anymore, and her secret was finally out in the open.
So now she stood in her newly built palace, liberated in an odd sort of way, and finally free to be the girl – no, woman – she always felt she should be. Everything about her now glowed with an air of newly acquired confidence, and even her new clothes revealed parts of her which up until now had been kept completely hidden. Her new dress adorned her, revealing her shoulders and her legs up to her knee, and accentuating every curve. “Sorry, but that perfect girl is gone…” she said to no one in particular. What she didn’t expect was that ‘no one in particular’ would, on this occasion at least, respond to her. “Pfft right!” came a dismissive reply, and though Elsa couldn’t tell where the voice was coming from she could tell by its softness that it belonged to a young woman.
“Anna?” Elsa said in a tone so low she knew the other woman wouldn’t hear her.
“If” the voice spoke again “that ‘perfect girl’ is gone, then why can I still see her?”
It was quickly established that this voice did not belong to Anna, as the Scottish accent came across so strongly…
Not the best, but still how I’d imagine them meeting; A little stand-offish at first but slowly warming to each other as Merida learns to appreciate the feminine beauty Elsa exudes, while Elsa begins to appreciate Merida’s wild nature, and learns from Merida how to truly embrace freedom.

My Pairing: NealxElsa (FrozenFire)
Location- SB
Neal walked along the paved road of Storybrooke, a solemn look upon his face. Two hours had passed since he had awoken in the graveyard, with no clue on how he was alive, or how much time had passed since his “death.” No one had seen him yet, but he had seen them all gathered at Granny’s for some type of celebration. From across the street, he could see into the window, and watched as Snow and David cuddled with their child. He watched his father and Belle sneak out of the ceremony, and drove away for what Neal could guess, their “privacy.” He could see his son playing with Roland, while Robin and Regina stood side by side with gleaming looks on their faces. Then he saw the most heart wrenching thing he could ever see…he saw Emma and Hook sharing a passionate kiss outside of Granny’s, and it was clear that she was happy. And if being with Hook made Emma happy, Neal would happily step aside to let his true love be with another. It wasn’t as if he had much of a choice, considering everyone thought he was dead.
Now he just wondered aimlessly through Storybrooke, deciding that tomorrow would be the best time to make his grand entrance back into everyone’s lives. It was too late at night for this type of surprise, and he had to find the reason he was now living and breathing. However, what soon struck him was the cold wetness that hit him on his head, causing him to look around in alarm. He watched as snow began to fall from the skies, and the temperature began to drop to a freezing temp. He didn’t understand, it was near summertime, it should not be snowing.
“What the he…” he began, till something caught his eye farther down the street. It was a figure, obviously a woman due to the curves of her body, walking through a misty fog. Neal quickly scampered to a tree, in fear that it was Zelena coming to cause ruckus in Storybrooke. He had become many things in life, and he didn’t want to add monkey to that list. However as the woman came closer, he could see that it was not Zelena….he had seen many women in his life that were pretty, beautiful even…but this woman in particular was smokin. Her skin a pale cream color, her eyes were practically gleaming sapphires, and her icy blond hair was in a fishtail braid thrown over her shoulder. She wore a crystal studded bodice, a crystal blue evening dress with a glittering, clear cape that flowed behind her. By the confidence in her walk, well, what Neal could more clearly describe…her strut, he could see that she was on a mission, and would be (beep) if she didn’t accomplish it.
“Where the heck am I?” he heard her beautiful voice mutter as she continued to walk, Neal dodging between trees to keep up with her without having to be seen. “This isn’t Arendelle…or the Enchanted Forest for that matter!”
Neal listened to the woman’s rant, and had to hold back a chuckle at her confusion. “Seems someone isn’t where they’re supposed to be,” he thought to himself.
“Wait till I find that (beep) Imp!” he heard the woman yell. “I’ll give him a reason to lock me in an urn…the malevolent, twisted demon!”
It didn’t take too much for Neal to know who she was referring to, the only man who anyone would describe as a twisted Imp. His father, Rumpelstilskin. “Papa…what have you done now,” he whispered under his breath, but quickly regretted his decision as the woman looked around. Neal cursed as he must have been thinking aloud.
“Whose there?” he heard the woman call out. “Reveal yourself you coward!” she shouted, and Neal could hear ice cracking, and the tree he was hiding behind turned a frosty white. The wood on the tree began to crack, and began to break with ease causing Neal to jump from behind it as the tree fell forward.
“You!” he heard the woman say, causing him to whirl around to face her, just as spikes of ice surrounded him. The sharpness of the ice came too close for Neal’s comfort as he held his hands up in a defensive manner. “Who are you! And what are you doing spying on me!” the woman asked.
“Woah!” Neal said as the ice began to creep closer to him. “Hey, hey, hey….I don’t mean you any harm! I just saw that you were sort of lost, and I was about to help…”
“Ha! I’m sure you were about to,” the icy woman sneered. “Look…if you’ve come looking for money, I don’t have any. And if you were about to do anything else….well, I’m sure you don’t want to do that!”
“No, no…you’ve got me all wrong! I really was just about to help you, but I can’t do that in this position,” Neal stated gesturing to the ice spikes around him. “I can help you…if you want me to.”
“Why would you help me?” the woman questioned. “No one ever just helps me unless it’s something in it for them!”
“I swear I’ll help you…free of charge,” Neal flashed his charming smile that caused the woman to roll her eyes, before waving her hand causing the ice spikes to disappear. Neal sighed in relief, as he gave a chuckle. “You really know how to give a guy a warm welcome?” he joked.
“Being warm was never one of my strong suits,” the woman quickly answered. “You said you were going to help me…so c’mon help! I need to find my sister Anna. She’s around this height, a little quirky, and just an overall burst of joy! Do you know…”
“Can I at least catch your name first?” Neal laughed. “I’m Bae…Neal Cassady,” he said holding out his hand, which the woman looked at with curiosity, before glancing back to Neal, a look of amusement on her face.
“You really don’t know who I am do you?” she laughed.
“Should I?” he questioned.
“Anyone who knows me wouldn’t dare touch me…” Elsa said as she reached forward to touch Neal’s jacket sleeve, that became an icy white color, clearly frosted. “The consequences could be icy.”
“Good to know,” Neal smiled with a nod, as he withdrew his hand. “So what is your name?”
“Elsa…” the woman stated, as she folded her hands in front of her, a smile gracing her face. “Queen Elsa of Arendelle.”

May 25, 2014 at 2:59 am #271190ash-the-narnianParticipantMy Pairing – Frederick/Abigial
Location-The Enchanted Forest
(might be a bit long hope ya don’t mind)
——–
Frederick hurries through the golden halls, He couldn’t be late not today of all days. When he was to be assigned along with a group of the other pages and squires to the noble ladies of court.
As part of their duties, He wore the livery of the King’s Household proudly. He was one of a dozen or so noble lads chossen to be fostered and to serve Knights in King Midas’ own castle and court.
He would do his duty and family proud. This is what he wanted even at the tender age of ten. Everything shone brightly here from the ceiling beams to the banisters and the marble or golden wooden floors.
Even his own own hair and boots reflected and was proof of the prosperity and bounty of the kingdom. It was said however (and later he would think it rightly so.) That the King’s greatest treasure was his young daugther the Princess Abigail.
As these and other thoughts swirled round his head, he made it just in time to the great hall and to his place amongst the other boys. There were dining carts next to the two long tables stacked with all manner of fine plates, goblets and things.
But what drew almost every eye, the younger page’s alight with unabashed curiousity. Was in between the tables was the cart covered by a large linen. There were quiet whispers branded about as they waited as to what might be beneath it as they waited some more patience than others for the Lord Stewart.
Who was in charge of the Household. It seemed an eternal wait but without fail, he heard footfalls and stood as straight and still as a statue. As the others surried into their places amongst the rows and ranks. The youngest boys just mangered to rush into place just before the Lord Stewart came into view.
He held his head high his eyes forward as the stewart survived the room with an eagle eye before telling them to begin with setting a place setting in full array upon the table.
As they all hopped to, Frederick glanced to the side as a soft whisper behind the balcony’s curtain above them though not excatly what was said. Never the less he was mindful to be about the task at hand. Next was the inspecting of the place setting which each boy stood beside. Frederick heard a soft clink and gazed sidewise beside him.
After the Lord Stewart was nearly at the end of his row, to see the elder boy nearly next to him as his fingers left his tunic pocket. Frederick’s eyes narrowed for a moment before becoming a mask of neturalty. He takes a breathe and opens his mouth slightly, in order to call out to the stewart. When a slight bump against his boot has him looking down.
To see a small golden ball by it he quickly bends and scoops it up as he glances to find whence it came. When he hears a whisper from behind the curtain of the lower covered entryway. He turns to quickly see a small blue eye peeping out at him before disappearing behind the curtain again with a soft giggle.
His feet move half on instinct and training toward it. He offers it out toward the small gap in the curtain & mannerly he states genteely with a slight bow at the waist. “I believe, Milady dropped this.”
A dainty golden cloth and lacy sleeved hand reaches out and gently takes the ball before disappearing again. After a soft clearing of a female throat a young voice replies, “Thank you, Page.”
Frederick bows his head respectfully with a smile, “Tis my pleasure, milady.” Before with careful and measured steps he walks back to his spot beside the table. Knowing and feeling eyes upon him. Some of which undoubtly are giving him the evil or stink eye or shaking their heads. Or wide eyes and silently proud.
As the Lord Stewart scribbles down something before one of the Ladies in Waiting strides out of the other curtained doorway and whispers something to him. He nods and murrers something back which sends the lady with graceful steps back to the curtained door. Which she holds aside as The Lord Stewart announces each lady through it but it is the Young Princess who catches his eye.
As she comes out calmly, head held high, her hands clasped in front of her the little golden ball in between her neatly folded hands. To say that he was stunned is an understatement he blinks absorbing the facts. As the ladies pass by inspecting/surveying the ‘troops’ as it were. Who would soon be in their charges as they learned the social graces and did whatever duties they were bayed to.
The Princess however was holding back and watching the proceedings with alert and an almost critical eye as she tossed the ball from one hand to the other. As the Lord stewart had them pull out the chairs and serve the ladies at luncheon. Several of which had smaller books hanging from gloved hands by some ribbon or such into which they wrote throughout the meal. At the end of which the servants cleared the tables.
And bought in the dessert trays along with tea. In was in the midst of them enjoying that fare that the King himself made a surprise appearance causing a flutter and flurry of activity as he made an polite apology to those assembled. As he came to stand beside his daugther’s chair, his bare unmagiced hand comeing to rest upon the top of it. He bent down slightly yo listen to his daugther’s whisper. He nodded and in a regal tone stated as he straightened.
“I see before me some of the finest things in our land. Our future protecters and flowers in their springtime. In which we must nurture so they may grow in strength and grace. The road ahead for our young warriors will be filled both with thorns of trails and great rewards. Glory, Honor and Prosperity..” He paused. “But let us not forget, that in order for this to be so the roots of that will allow them to grow to great heights. Must be firmly planted in the laws and virtues of our land.”
“Especially those of court and under the shelter of my roof,..Honor, Respect, and Honesty among-st the highest virtues. ” These words made Frederick’s heart swell, but to some of the other boys it had the opposite effect. Some shifted or sweated at the King’s words.
“Tests of Prowess you all shall become used to overtime I am sure both on and off the field.” At this King Midas clapped his gaulented hand and several of his Knights opened and came through the great wooden doors. “Before you leave us today if you would be so kind as to let one of these fine champions of our realm know if anything is amiss or meets your exceptions, Thank you.” His tone was warm but his eyes glittered a bit steel like.
And so first the ladies exited upon their finishing their teas, the lads there after. As Frederick exited her could already hear the shouts and excuses and protests as a few of the squires and pages’s were repromaned and/or lead away. Espically one in particular he had singled out in a whisper to his own Knight’s ear. The rest stood at attention ready to be given asignment as the great doors closed behind the last of the Knights and the King. His daugther and her nursemaid before him.
The Princess was whispering to her father again but this time he heard snatches of it.
“There Daddy, that’s the one.” Her father smiled warmly as he straightened and walked toward him, Frederick swallowed softly as he bowed his head respectfully as the King asked,
“What’s your name, lad?”
“Frederick, Your Majesty.”
“Well, Frederick, How would you like to be one of the Princess’s Pages?”
He looked up quickly and then down again, “I-It would be my Honor to be of service to the Princess,Your Majesty.”
“Good.” Midas stated warmly as he gently guided his daughter in front of him.
She curtesed at the small prompt from her nursemaid. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Master Frederick.” her tone warm with a small smile as he bowed at the waist in return.
“It is an honor to make your acquiescence, Your Highness.” He smiled in return and she as well when he dared to met her eyes but for a moment.
