Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur (2016)

I’m not sure how many people know about this, but Guy Richie is going to direct a new King Arthur origin story, slated for a 2016 release. Thus far, the only confirmed cast is Arthur himself and Guinevere. Arthur will be played by Charlie Hunnam and Guinevere by Astrid Bergès-Frisbey.

I think casting is currently looking into filling the part of Merlin.

The last time we had a King Arthur prequel story on film was 2004.

Like Romeo and Juliet, we’re also due for a new take on King Arthur. I also got through watching Starz’ Camelot on hulu.com and it was good.
