I’m guessing it’s Mr. Gold who tells Regina by gloating he’s Henry’s biological grandpa, which sets Regina off in revenge mode, and so she curses Belle as Lacey.

Do you not think that she would need more. maybe she asked Rumple. i hope. i love them play together. That could be the last trigger to turn Belle into Lacey. I mean he helped Snow with killing her mother. Let her cast a curse were she will not get her happy ending only that he could get his son back. Tricked her in this whole mess and give her his own grandson (saviours son, Snows grandson) for her child. I am a rumbeller, but after all what he did to her it is a small paycheck. She did already worse to him. she captured his love for more than 30 years. Now she is not herself but she is free and as much as i could read bout Lacey she is not so bad at all. She accepts his dark side and if she drawn to that. She will fall again and True Loves kiss will work.

I hope we get a scene between Regina and Rumpel, because those actors play so well off each other. Yet I think it is the kind of thing that they may skip over and leave it to our imagination how she knew.
If not what HappyEndings suggested, then perhaps she knew because it IS a small town, and one in which people don’t seem to think much of having private conversations where people can overhear (like that Diner scene in last episode …..). In small towns where no one ever visits, people have got to be gossiping about not just Greg, but Tamara and Neal.

I do enjoy it when Rumple and Regina play off each other. But if that doesn’t happen, maybe Regina sees the Stiltskin family out playing with their swords and realizes who Neal is.

I still think it was odd that Tamara her her stuff at his apt but he never had a key to her car, plus did Bae tell Tamara that they had locked Hook up I don’t remember that part? ❓
